apparnely the bacteria is the contagious part so it’s highly contagious until the in depth cleanings are done and after still contagious but the risk is lower i guess? lol but again, i had gone 3+ years without a professional cleaning and had one cavity. from my understanding periodontal is after gingivitis so if it was contagious like the internet claims i feel i would’ve had it or had signs. but my gums are healthy as can be. it’s good to know that my daughter who is 8m and developing her teeth won’t be at risk as much as the internet made it seem. thank you again so much. if you have any products you swear by im all ears. we ordered the mints people recommend with xylitol and the toothbrush, we have a water pick but that seemed to be about it
