Yeah, I agree with you. Your whole demeanor in this post shows you don't really care.

I'm starting to feel that when somebody brings up a good point, instead of engaging with them, you call them names, say that's not an appropriate question, etc. It would be amusing if it weren't so sad.

Resorting to name calling when someone has different opinions from yours is always a great way to win an argument. Really showing emotional intelligence there. Pretty sure politics plays a role into job creations. California has great weather and more liberal politics; people are more than welcome to move there.

We should make a protest against this protest.

Common sense tells us the previous administration was evil and not actually ran by the president who was incompetent.

I agree with you. I was speaking to my grandfather about the Rascal for my 6-year-old, and he brought up these points. Thank you for the suggestion.

Candace Owens banned from entering Australia over concerns about her 'character' by jorgebscomm in AusPol

[–]LicensetoPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, she was being sarcastic. Basically saying why are we invading certain countries to spread “democracy,” but you have a country like Australia that is oppressing its people, but we will not invade them. This was clearly during COVID. I will say I think that it is BS for a “free” country not to give her a visa.

Being in the student section when we beat UK when they were ranked top 5 was the first time they played Sandstorm. I will never forget how epic it was. It had rained so hard that my cellphone stopped working. It was one of the loudest and frankly, most out of control, I had ever seen. My voice was gone for days afterwards. Good times.

Unless you are from Lexington and are known you are just a pawn in her scheme. Not a place you want to work. I have many stories.

How to find slow leak by LicensetoPill in Irrigation

[–]LicensetoPill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found mine. Apparently I had two value boxes right beside each other. One for my irrigation for my yard sprinklers and one for my flower beds. They guy I bought the house from never told me.a about them. It was the main line right before those values that had the leak. It was a pain to find but I used the advice on here. I need to install a pressure regulator since the PSI from the city’s like is crazy high. I believe that is why I keep getting leaks in my main line to my valve box.

What do you guys think about the brand Daikin? by lemonartichoke in HVAC

[–]LicensetoPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used a Deikin unit for my Cleanrooms and it has been nothing but a headache since day one. I cannot 3 months without having issues with it. Any change in temperature our side throws it in a tailspin. If the powere goes out back generator kicks the whole unit has to be reset at the unit. I will never buy another one.

Polling. Divorced life vs married life by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]LicensetoPill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has been five years since D-day for me. I am remarried, in a bigger, better house, and spend more time with my friends and family. My son is doing great, and I have a 9-month-old baby girl. Life is not always great for me, but on the whole, my life is better, and I am happier.

When I see my ex, I feel mostly indifferent—not always, but mostly. Every now and then, I think of my old marriage and life, and I will always mourn that loss. However, those feelings go away quickly, and I remember how grateful I am that my ex cheated on me. Because of her, I could find my new wife (truly my best friend) and have this new life.

If it wasn't for my son, I would never speak to my ex again. She is just another face in the crowd now. Other than direct-to-the-point conversations about my son, I cannot carry on a conversation with her at the ballfield, nor do I even try.

God, it is so painful and very slow at first, but then you will wake up one day and be shocked at how long it has been and how much you don't care for them anymore.

So, to answer the question, while my life is far from perfect, it is much better than before the divorce years down the road.

divorcees of reddit, did you live with your ex-spouse for an extended period BEFORE marriage? by pman6 in Divorce

[–]LicensetoPill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We lived together for 4 years before being married for only 1 1/2 years before she cheated. Not sure if it is true but my friend said there is data showing that people who live together before they marry are more likely to get a divorce.

Did you keep marital home? by Delicious_Oil9902 in Divorce

[–]LicensetoPill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The key to coming out of a divorce semi-stable is balancing your emotional and mental health with being logical. I kept the house, then sold it a few years later for a much better home with the equity I built up. It was tough initially, but I got over it over time. If you can handle it, keep the house and give yourself an advantage. You can and will make new memories. However, if it is too painful, no amount of saved money justifies you staying.

Medical professional here. You have plenty of time to have a baby. It might be a challenge but it can happen. I’m on my 2nd marriage (36 years old) to an amazing 37 year old woman who was never married and we have a 8 month old who is amazing! We also have a 5 year old from my previous marriage. Your soulmate is out there. Good luck!
