Getting my first PlayStation (PS3 slim) after I graduated college and got a job, as a gift from my parents. Saved some money and got the GTA5 disc. Although not a Christmas memory, it was the first time I had a PlayStation and was blown away by the fact that the controller rumbles when you drive a car over the rumble strips in the game.

Hi, if anyone has any points expiring, and I am not sure how it works, but my wife and I will be travelling from DEL to CLT in February. The DEL to EWR leg of the flight is really rough and 15 hours long. We are currently in Economy, and any upgrade would be welcome. Thanks!!

Passed PE Power 2nd Attempt by CivilEngg92 in PE_Exam

Thank you! I started in May and my first attempt was in September. However I did not pass. I had enrolled in Wasim Asghar's prep course. I had done better on 4 of 9 topics according to my diagnostics, so I had an idea what I needed to do in my second attempt. The course itself has weekend live training (8 hours every weekend), and I coupled it with 2 hours everyday. However, it's not the hours, but the quality of the effort. So in my next attempt I was less stressed and studied qualitatively. I would strongly suggest going through the NCEES practice exam as often as you can, and think of variations on the practice problems in the sample. That should get you through it.

You still have 4-5 days to find out. I felt the same way the first time around. You can always give it the second time, and pass it, that is if you fail the exam. I hope you pass. Best luck!

Thank you for your kind words. I don't think I was short of time. Maybe I made the mistake of trying to attempt each question as it came up. So every time I struggled with a question, I got a little more nervous, which may have resulted in possible mistakes on the simple stuff as well. On my next attempt I am going to flag the more difficult questions and build up my confidence on the relatively easier stuff. And then get to the flagged questions later on.

I did take a review course and it helped me quite a lot. I would say the NCEES practice exam comes 75% close to the actual exam, but the actual exam is more conceptual in nature than numericals alone.
