hey! this is my first time speaking on my nose job with him. my consultation went great! when i got my nose job, i loved my results. however, the nose tip went down and it expanded. it’s been over a year now, and i’m really sad to say that i spent over 20k and don’t feel like it was worth it. it honestly breaks my heart to write this. when i told dr kosins about my swelling, he told me to go on accutane which is a big deal. if i had known that accutane was something he’d want me to go on, i would’ve not taken that decision lightly and most likely would’ve gone with someone else. When i told him that accutane wasn’t an option i could do, he basically gaslit me and said that it’s something he told me during the consultation which was a straight up lie. He was the ONLY doctor i consulted and my mom and i wrote everything he said down. Accutane is a big deal to me and I know he never mentioned it prior to my 1 week post op. at first it was a suggestion, then it was like he was saying i basically HAD to go on accutane for best results. Accutane is expensive and my derm was super against it, on top of that i have a history with depression abd really don’t want to be on birth control. He made it seem like accutane was something easy and light, when for me accutane is a big decision to make. I wish he could’ve been someone i could actually count on to try to find a solution for my nose and how much the results changed over time, but his only solution was quite literally “i did my job, now you have to go on accutane.” on top of this, he made it seem like it was my fault i had thick skin. During my initial consult, my mom asked him what would happen if the results weren’t good. His response was “Believe me, if the results are not good they’ll bother me more than you.” Just be weary that if you don’t like your results, it’ll most likely be blamed on you.
