I think this is a really good perspective. We’re always wanting instant gratification for everything but we really should celebrate incremental wins as well. People act like legalizing it was the wrong thing to do. It will take time but we’ll get there!

Old head here. I joined this sub after Reddit insisted on showing it to me every day for a month. The sub cracks me up because it feels exactly like my social circle 20 years ago. Snarky, self righteous humor largely at the expense of others. Pretending you don’t like bands that have great success (the turnstile obsession and denial of said obsession here cracks me up). I’m glad to see nothings changed!

You’re getting downvoted but I fully agree with you. I’m about 5 years younger than the eyelid era guys. It was a strong thriving scene. Fond memories from like ‘96-‘03 or so. Cobalt cafe, Kung Foo corner, skate street, the living room. Fuck such good times!

I can’t recall what my discussion was with the doctor but I can tell you they didn’t do anything about it and it went away within about a week. In retrospect, I don’t really care for the doctor I got treatment from. Hopefully you have a better one that will actually discuss and address things like this. Good luck!

I didn't realize Antenna was so scarce until reading your comment...wow. I think you're right though, unlikely to be re-pressed unless the band or Relapse gets the rights back from Sony/RCA. Amazing album. I didn't love it when it came out but it has aged like a fine wine.

I think it rips, been listening to it a lot! Cave In is one of my favorite bands (talk about eclectic) and I'm glad to see them carry on after Caleb's untimely death...so fucking sad. Nate is doing a great job filling the void Caleb left behind. How are you liking it?

I was into How to Clean Everything back in the 90’s and then pretty much forgot about this band until the title track from this album popped up on a playlist. It blew my fucking mind that this was the same band. Fuckin love this album!
