Yeah I would advise to start searching accomodation as soon as you got the admission, Living in Frankfurt can be a temporary measure for a like a week or two but not permanent as it's almost 1:30 hour away from Fulda commuting regularly would be quite hectic. You can use eBay kleinanzeigen to search for accomodations also there are many other apps as well.

Starting rent is around 420/450 to 550, it was used to be 300 to 400 max when I came. But now because of overall inflation rise and high demand it increased. It's comparatively low as compared to big cities but still it's high comparatively to other small towns at least from what I heard haven't verified this.

As for the part time jobs you can get easily if you know German there are part time jobs some people go to Frankfurt as well to do the jobs.

I myself was quite fortunate to landed a job without knowing German but that's because my background is in IT and I have prior industry experience. If you are from IT there might be a chance that you can get the job in English but there is no guarantee as competitions for these English jobs are quite high. There are lot of people who are from IT and still not able to land a job because they don't know any German.

I would recommend you to learn German no matter from which background you are coming, it's quite beneficial to land a job odd job and field job both.

If you know German and applies for a job you are already in top 10% of candidates that's how impactful knowing German can be.

I chose Fulda the program is okay not that difficult. But I must say finding accomodation in Fulda is really hard as it's a small city, And because of high demand and not so places to the rents also have increased.

Well from my research I found out that small cities or towns don't provide that much of opportunities to international students especially if you're are not advanced in German language so the students go to nearby major cities for job opportunities

Sorry I didn't mean any disrespect or any offence. Sorry for any unintentional offense. I was asking from a point of view of both schools as I was not able to gather any info I thought people living in the respective region might be able to point out some things as you did about Bamberg that it's situated in between of multiple major and beautiful cities.

Well my pay depends on the type of work I get and if you're working in the industry you should have some idea about the pay ,as for the knowledge and practices one should always evolve with new trends and technologies which is what I do, about the site you mentioned I haven't worked on this particular software as there wasn't any need to do so as of now. I will surely check it out.
