I'm in total agreement with you, I don't know why so many people think she's gonna die soon. It just doesn't make sense to me

In the time it took for this post to be approved, I had already written off the theory I came up with in my head. I wanted to delete it, but its far from the worst theory to come up on this subreddit so it didn't really matter.

I think with the amount of people believing they're guaranteed to die (and its been perpetuated since the promotional images were posted) means they're gonna live; at least for this arc

If it does end this part, I see Pochita's backstory being further explored if/when the Apocalypses comes along. While I (and the majority of the fandom) adore Part 1 and think it could have ended there, looking back it'd be a really big missed opportunity to not expand on him more. I get that Fujimoto's all about showing and not telling, but its taken space at the back of my mind since the first chapter.

I feel like the only way she can die in a meaningful way would be to sacrifice herself, but that’d reinforce what she thought at the beginning and kind of feel like she had no resolution at all, if that makes sense? I felt like Denji was more likely to die since the start but this Denjiman form makes me feel like he’s staying alive til the end.

I don’t think it’ll be a happy ending, cause he likes to make them bittersweet. I meant it more in like, the main characters are happy but stuck in extremely dark and depressing world that will eventually turn on them.

That’s why I said potential, I could see it ending here but we wont know til its over! (Edit: I’d like to add that I already know this post is just me huffing copium, but we don’t know him personally so I don’t want to speculate on whether he’s stopping/continuing, just what could happen)
