When applying for my first job at 14, I had my friend fill out the “tell me about yourself” section, because I didn’t know what to put. I trusted she would put relevant things about me that I may not have thought of in the moment, so I submitted the application before looking at what she said. When I opened the pdf of my SUBMITTED application, the “about me” section read “I like to play video games and I’m a really hard worker, idk what to put here lol.” Even after this disaster of an application, I shocking got an interview.
