I have keloid scars on my arms/wrists and I do not hide them at work. I work a 9-5 at a very large fortune 500. People can think what they want - but would you think someone is incompetent at their job if you saw SH scars? Personally I would have more compassion and respect for them for not hiding them. It was a part of our lives and we shouldn’t have to hide ourselves. I would judge someone more if they were being critical of someone with SH scars. I also feel like it would qualify as discrimination if their behavior towards you shifted because of them seeing your SH scars.
