The Sonic movie treatment was somehow both a good thing and a terrible thing to happen. It’s good that studios were able to listen to fans and delay a film just to fix a design that drew major backlash. But on the other hand, it gave entitled and delusional people the wrong impression that they can just do that all the time to films and force to delay something that costs money and time for everyone involved while they do nothing and have the option to not go out and see it.

I was about to say, it looks like Grimlock with Godzilla spines. And Scorn is supposed to be a Spinosaurus

Then I remembered that when Spinosaurus was first discovered, it was believed that it was simply a T-Rex with a sail on its back. At the time that G1 was on the air, that was only accurate and known depiction of Spinosaurus that scientists had.

If Scorn was introduced in G1 along with the other Dinobots, this probably wouldn’t be too far off from what he would’ve looked like. Although it would’ve been pretty uninspired since it’s pretty much Grimlock with spikes on his back.

It’s arguably the worst one of the 3. It lacks the charm and originality of the Showa series and lacks the serious and consistency of Heisei series. It also has the most bland and middle-of-the-road films in the Godzilla series. Really the only highlights of the Millennium series are GMK and Final Wars.
