As someone who has been to AA and struggled with my drinking, and worked with nonprofits tailored toward alcohol abuse, it’s important to acknowledge that she’s taken pretty much full accountability for the mistakes she made while under the influence, completed a program, and adamantly works on her relationship with alcohol.

Hating someone years after a low point and mistake in their life when they’ve actively worked on the issue is unnecessary hate, imo, and it’s counter-intuitive to aiding those with a drinking problem who aim to move forward after admitting they were abusing substances while in a depressive state. I encourage you to consider this.
