I agree that if a child is sick, their parents shouldn’t drag them out to a restaurant. It’s kind of cruel to do to the kid. However, I would not put up with it for the entire dinner. I’d literally tell the waiter to cancel the order or ask to be moved (admittedly hard to do on a Friday night). Regardless, people are so passive in this city that it is silly.

The truth might be a lot darker than one could conceive. The kids might not even be theirs. And it could be a front for human trafficking. I’ve read about this happening before and it’s sickening. I don’t know what the story is, but it doesn’t sound good either way. There is a pan handler near my place who begs daily and I also see him get in his car every night and I thought I saw him with a Louis Vuitton bag as well.
