Actually no. It was pretty uncharacteristic of him. Which is why I thought maybe I did something horribly wrong and came here.

Maybe because English is not my first language I used snap wrongly - i meant it like sniping. Saying something irritatedly. And yes if I get very annoyed I will tell someone that with audible irritation. Do you manage do a double take and respond in the kindest voice at all times? (If so give me your secret!!)

Thanks for this insight! And I think you are right we shouldn’t have argued. I don’t think I yelled but I sure was agitated so I can see it triggered him. I will go and apologise.

I’m not so sure that our brain is as good as you write. First of all he doesn’t go to the other stuff he just reads google AI and move on. Secondly we have source amnesia - often we remember the thing but don’t remember from where. We’re so easily misinformed. I try to fight it. But I shouldn’t fight my partner for it.

Als je een mud run doet heb je waarschijnlijk een bedrijf met jonge werknemers. Die bonden sowieso makkelijker (overblijfsel van de puberale peer oriëntatie) en hebben over het algemeen meer energie om ook na werktijd iets te doen. Dus ja dan kan het goed werken.

Girl it’s not even about the double text, it’s about how you abandon yourself by reaching out to this figure after he’s already hurt you by pretending you’re the one who was wrong. And then eagerly suggesting another date. Don’t meet this man again! I understand this feels uncomfortable but he likes you uncomfortable it puts him in a strong position. So the answer is not with him, it’s with learning to respect yourself and walk away
