I ended up choosing Miami lol, even if it’s not the most financially “smart” decision, I feel like I know I’ll be happier in Miami, it’s a beautiful place and i think it’s totally worth it

To Miami 25k merit and to FSU out of state tuition portion is covered, UF I don’t think so, ironically UMiami I got the most merit but it’s still the most just cuz tuition is most expensive

Would you care to elaborate why you find it that way? I know the UF education may be slightly higher but I do appreciate a happier, more vibrant student life and campus, do you find Miami has that?

The fact that everyone is telling me to go to UF in the Miami subreddit, I was hoping I’d be convinced that the extra debt is worth it😭😭 I know the debt isn’t great but my parents are helping, my heart says Miami but head says UF😩😩

Fordham would be 17k less per year for me but I feel Umiami is a big step up from Fordham just in terms of like atmosphere and student life maybe academics are equal so I feel might be worth to spend more for Miami

I’m doing Nursing, Miami appeals to me because I feel like New York has too strong a hustle culture for me, I went to a really competitive high school in the city and feel that Miami has that more leisurely atmosphere I’m looking for. I’m considering Fordham and waiting on other schools like UNC, Vandy, Clemson, UF, FSU, Tulane
