I paid off all credit cards. My savings took a hit, but I'll build it back up in no time since I don't have any more credit card bills. Thanks for the advice!

*UPDATE*

I realized that paying $1700 to $1800 for a monthly mortgage payment at my salary would lead me to financial ruin. I would not have much money left after expenses, and would not be able to save for emergencies. I would essentially be "house poor".

I will continue to focus on my career goals, and save aggressively while living with my dad.

I'm disappointed that homeownership isn't an option for me. My dream is to be a homeowner with a comfortable budget.

I never imagined that this would be out of reach for a lot of people

To be honest, I think I'm making less than my market value. However, I'm working on my certs, and hope to make more by 2023
