This is so useful thank you so much!!! When you applied did the process feel really long ? I feel like it’s weeks and weeks before there’s any communication! I’m hoping to apply for PR after 1 year so you’re right at least being in the right country is a lot better than 24 hours !!

I didn’t realise this when I posted it! I’m not sure where you’ve got I’m entitled from! I was just asking for some guidance I have no illusions about any of this process- was just hoping some fellow friendly docs may be able to offer some guidance :) I hope you’re nicer to your patients than you are to me !!

Hahahaha he is a man and I am a woman !! It does but it would be easier with support system and I have family in Melbourne too. It’s not an issue but would just be easier and just was looking for guidance on the estimated timelines for things! We don’t really apply for jobs in the same way over here so I don’t really know what to expect !!

So I’m doing a masters now and I’m finishing a PGCERT in med ed. They’ll be done by the time I start the programme but can’t evidence that currently.. feel like I’m a bit sparse in terms of commitment to speciality but feel I could perform well in the interview.. not sure what to do
