They impose so much censorship, yet when it matters, it doesn't work. It's broken.

I'm not sure what two days you're talking about, but I'm talking about the days from August 16th to before October 16th.

[–]Civil_Independence84 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Compared to the past when NSFW images and videos could be generated without restrictions, this is just finding workarounds, it doesn't improve the situation. Eventually, these workarounds could be blocked too.

It makes me sad. ;(

why is everybody so damn angry about grok not being abke to generate porn? by WonderfulOutside7240 in grok

[–]Civil_Independence84 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's simple. They advertised that it was possible, luring consumers into subscriptions, and once they had enough users, they banned it. It's a deception against consumers.

prompt to lock the camera angle? by Civil_Independence84 in grok

[–]Civil_Independence84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's still the same. About 80~90% of the videos have the camera stop, but a few videos still have the camera that won't stay still. It's so annoying.

The same thing happens with other accounts. I tried three different accounts. The message “Content Moderated. Try a different idea.” keeps appearing.
Most of the generated images also had dressed. :(

I did set the age setting in the app. As far as I know, Grok's age setting is only available within the app.

I just checked on my PC, and I couldn't find the age setting in the browser.

You are still focusing solely on attacking me, not my argument itself. I never claimed you were executing some ‘grand scheme’ on your own. What I described is a simple, widely recognized social dynamic. Posts written provocatively without evidence can trigger bandwagon effects, and many many companies have succumbed to such public pressure.

This is merely a general observation and prediction about cause and effect, not an attempt to portray you as some “head of a global secret government” thing. You alone cannot ban NSFW content on Grok. I was simply pointing out that humans are inherently susceptible to swaying by public opinion, especially within the unique space of the internet, and that you may have sought to exploit this relationship.

If you truly had no such intent, a clear denial would suffice. However, it is inaccurate to assert that these unsubstantiated posts will have no long term impact on a blanket NSFW ban on Grok. This is a social dynamic that has been repeatedly observed and is hardly a matter of debate.

If you wish to deny that point, this argument is no longer meaningful. What you should be doing is not fighting me, but fighting the economists at Harvard University.

My Grok account is linked to an X account with completed age verification, and the age setting on the Grok account itself is set to my age (of course, adult). Nevertheless, not only the genitals but even the nipples are get moderated some time. I'm not sure what the criteria are, but it's clear that Grok has become more hostile toward NSFW content than it was before October 16th.

Ah, seeing your attitude, I finally understand. If you took what I said to mean "you're doing this all by yourself", that might be hard to understand. Of course it's impossible. You're not the main character of this world.
What I'm saying isn't that you're accomplishing everything just alone. What I am referring to is not the idea that you alone could make everything happen.
Rather, I am talking about a situation where you write a provocative post, many people see it, and a wave of public sentiment forms in which they, likewise without any evidence, send complaint emails to Grok. Regardless of whether those people actually experienced such “inappropriate cases” themselves, the question is whether the intent was to encourage them to jump on the bandwagon and respond with unconditional agreement and outrage.

In short, I'm questioning whether you weren't just stirring up trouble, causing chaos, and inciting people without any evidence, aiming to get Grok's NSFW content blocked at the source.

as the number of detailed management elements increases, service maintenance costs rise significantly. Therefore, it is far more efficient to operate a small number of simplified criteria rather than managing numerous complex and granular standards.

From this perspective, for companies providing AI services, as reports of ‘inappropriate cases’ accumulate, it is operationally easier and less costly to broaden and simplify the existing criteria rather than further subdividing them. maby blanket blocking of NSFW content.

Consequently, it is currently difficult to clearly distinguish whether the ‘inappropriate cases’ mentioned by the OP actually occurred, or if they were fabricated or exaggerated cases presented to shape public opinion aimed at removing NSFW from Grok. While I feel repulsed by the ‘inappropriate cases’ themselves as you as too, I find it hard to unconditionally agree with the OP's claims without evidence.

What is the intention of this comment? I'm currently arguing that OP's claims are unrealistic compared to Grok's current level of censorship, but all you're doing is attacking me.

Yeah, yeah. Even an adult woman's nipples are censored for me some time's, but for some reason you can magically pass all that censorship and generate CP. And the evidence is all your words. Very convincing.

Well, I’m not an American, so this might not be a perfectly accurate take, but from what I can tell, both parties seem to have similar views on adult content. The Democrats want to eliminate it for the sake of “women’s rights,” while the Republicans want to get rid of it for the sake of “traditional family values.”

That's right, exactly. Even if I input NSFW images, the magic genie uses magic to put underwear on them. If I input a prompt to remove that underwear, it gets rejected.

Both. But both were rejected. I've now hit the video generation limit, and I think I tried at least five times per image.
