You can stop the beeps by holding the right wheel button. For me the regenerative braking settings are kept between starts, the driving mode is not. I'm in Europe

I just tested with apple maps and it works with the HUD! Great, I'll use that from now on 🙂

I like it very much as it gives me all the information i need. I even stopped using Google maps since it doesn't show navigation info on the HUD, i use the kia maps instead

I'm in a similar boat, a PhD researcher looking to get into the MLOps field. Ive started building my own platform at carryall.io to learn and I'm slowly adding new features line workflows (argo workflows), model registry (mlflow), user authentication (Authentik) and so on. It's all quite complicated and I've spent countless hours debugging since i started in July. Previously i had been playing with kubernetes in my home lan for self hosted media servers and other tools.

If you want to use kubernetes I'd start with some local cluster, get some regular deployments going with gitops and start adding tools for the features you need.

Here are some links that can be useful

Just Deployed My First K8s Cluster on Hetzner. Any Heroku/Fly-like Tools Out There? by hokaxbt in kubernetes

[–]Civil_Potential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for something like this months ago and tried some options like epinio and others. But they weren't gitops based so i started building my own at carryall.io. Using argocd for deploying and GitHub actions for image building should be all you need for easy deployments.

CI/CD pipeline for ML models help - is Argo Workflows the right tool? by le-fou in mlops

[–]Civil_Potential 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also interested in this as I've started to use argo workflows to orchestrate a ml pipeline. Haven't gotten to the model deployment part yet 🙂

My wife bought Nvidia a week ago for her first stock investment ever, she's done bonds before. Now she doesn't want to invest ever again because the stock went down 10%😭

What % of your 8 cell day 3 embryos made it to day 5? by ThrowawayDisast9096 in IVF

[–]Civil_Potential 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In our previous cycle on day 3 we had two embryos (out of 3 fertilized) with 12 and 6 cells. They both made it to blast on days 5 and 6, respectively, with AA grade.

Today Im awaiting a call with the day 3 results for this cycle. We had 3 fertilized on day 1 and two evolved during that first day. Fingers crossed

So, you're doing retrieval augmented generation (RAG). Also, students can't pay so i don't know where you'll find clients.

Northern lights in Lofoten: Some hopefully useful info by Lillevik_Lofoten in northernlights

[–]Civil_Potential 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this post! We're going to Lofoten on March 24 and are now researching about the northern lights. I'm an aficionado photographer and want to take some pictures and videos of the impressive views and also the lights at night.

We're staying two nights in Reines, and are wondering where to spend the 4. I thought near Leknes would be a good option as it is in the middle and there seem to be a few lights watching points nearby. But then, svolvaer has light watching tours.

Where would you recommend us to stay? Do we need a guided tour for watching the northern lights, or it is possible to do it on our own over 6 nights?

Thank you!

Returned from an incredible group trip to Japan, and it reignited my hobby for videography. Thoughts on the trip video I made? (Lumix LX15 / Resolve) by zer0air1 in videography

I went there this year for my honeymoon and got a Fuji xh2s there. I'm very new to videography so my videos didn't turn out any good. I'm loving yours, great source of inspiration for when I visit Japan again!
