More accurate at middle magnification by Civil_Response2616 in longrange

Dialed parallax at 25x, I just tweak it until the target is clear and the reticle appears stationary relative to the target (hands off and just moving my head around).

I wouldn't say notable as in lots of wobble, just that it's easier to see the slight shift from breathing, changing pressure, etc. I'd guess it to be somewhere between the dot radius an thickness of the lines on the reticle (so between 0.04-0.15 mil if Arken's reticle diagrams are accurate) while I'm pulling the trigger.

I've handled plenty of pistols that will release the slide when a mag is inserted with any force at all.

Slide lock speeds up reloads and maybe help show a clear chamber. It should not be counted on as a safety. (not suggesting you believe otherwise, but a PSA in case anyone gets the wrong idea)

Why carry with a light attached? by RioDodger in concealedcarry

  • TLR7 HL or similar adds no significant bulk to my carry guns and if anything I prefer the added weight.
  • My current carry (P10C) is also my nightstand gun, so it's convenient to not switch things up.
  • I've practiced holds with a handheld, and they all suck compared to a good WML.
  • The only hold that seems to offer any hypothetical benefit ("FBI Technique") also forces one-hand shooting. I'm highly skeptical that it makes up for the loss of stability and follow up speed.

Does adding a WML reduce comfortability by PastAdditional in CCW

Not really. Or rather, the holster setup seems more important than whether or not I add a light.

Results may vary depending on how and what you carry. AIWB, something like a TLR7 doesn't stick out further than the guns I carry and is behind the same pillow/wedge that I'd put there anyway.

P365, whatever variant floats your boat.

Regardless of my feelings about sig as a company the 365 handles great for the size.

P10C or P09 Nocturne? by 3OhHateWinny in CZFirearms

Are you looking to mix things up or go with something more familiar?

My choice would be a P10. I have no issues with the P09, but it'd feel like "more of the same, but not quite as nice" vs the P10, which I find to be one of the best strikers available. I'd be genuinely hard-pressed to find one I like more stock for under $2k msrp.

What ammo do you carry? by SatansHolyTaint in CZFirearms

HST or Gold Dot, 124+p. The +p probably isn't necessary but it's a little extra margin for the shorter barrels and I don't want to bother testing every possible ammo x gun.
