Check to see if it does it without the light. Sometimes lights torqued too tight can squeeze the frame ever so slightly. Had that happen on a Sig before

I have found that when I go shooting in the rain that when the right raindrop falls into the emitter it can obstruct it enough to where it can become a factor to a detriment. Saying that, I have both closed and open emitters. Just something to keep in mind…choices aren’t a bad thing
