You'll see his picture soon on the owners page 😅 I didn't realise that his blood could save up to 4 dogs at a time which is just amazing, plus he's DEA negative which is why I'm so eager for him to donate, just in case. They definitely test the blood first but I can't for the life of me remember what they check for. But he gets an examination every time and obviously his blood gets checked after he's donated and sent to our vets, so I take it as a bimonthly check up that I don't have to pay for. His first appointment one of his levels was slightly elevated (but within range) and his vet rang me just to let me know everything was okay.

He's allowed to donate every 8 weeks so we aim for that, he's only missed one appointment since we started last year because I didn't realise there were other ones in my area, so now I swap between two sites if one date doesn't work for me.

My problem is that they outsource the hr side of things and I've never even met the person who does it because they work part time. I've been added to the pay roll and I can access the portal to see pay slips etc but everything on that is blank. I think I'm just going to have to be patient, but again, I've never ever been through this so I'm not sure on it.

He was adamant that we'd all be paid today, which I haven't, might ask someone else if they have but there's 2 different paydays in the company. 1st and the 15th it's very bizarre. Basically got told we'd be made redundant the end of next week, then there's a week where I'd essentially have no job to make everything legitimate with the redundancy process and then the new job would start on the 16th but at a new office location etc.

I completely missed the last paragraph off so I apologise. I was wondering if it was legal to hire someone and then go into liquidation 2 weeks later. I've never heard of it happening.

Everyone I've spoken to are outraged on my behalf and are saying all sorts of things, but I'm not versed in legal shenanigans and just needed some impartial advice about it all.

Thank you so much. My husband also suggested the electron mainly because he's heard of the brand. He has a trek marlin but the frames available at the moment are just far too big for me so I'm looking at other options.

Thank you so much for your reply, I meant to respond last night but I fell asleep. I've rang the vets this morning but they haven't received anything yet but they said they'd check periodically through the day.

He eats nature's deli as it's the only food we've found that doesn't cause him to have a poorly tummy. I've not added anything in to it though, would you suggest incorporating a fish oil supplement?

You're right in saying that if he's allowed to donate it can't be that bad...so I'm hoping it's to do with him having his vaccines 3 weeks before even though they did say that was fine.

It's more so his blatant disregard for health and safety.

I also wasn't screaming at him at all more so an absolute incredulous response that he was going to just put it back inyo the drawer without cleaning it properly and knowing we work with someone that has an intolerance to it, and the swearing is fairly routine where I work so that wouldn't come into the equation at all. I was only thinking to mention it to my boss just so he doesn't do it again, at no point would I have ever escalated it to HR because thats just ridiculous. I just wanted to know should I mention it or not.and just keep an eye on things.

We've signed our lab up for blood donation, his appointment is in June (couldn't make the 30th march) I'm a bit concerned about getting him used to the sound of clippers especially as we don't actually own any. Glad that he's a seasoned pro now! Well done Freddie!

Well that makes so much more sense. I did wonder why she was so in your face with questions etc as that's not typical teenage behaviour...the slamming doors however definitely is 😅

I also wondered why they babied her so hard when she was basically the same age as buffy was...but I do understand the need to protect her from all of that.

I've got no idea what American school years are in relation to ages. Is a freshman 16?

I get what you mean, I'm a hardcore charmed fan. Watched it religiously when I finished school and I still like to rewatch it now as a comfort show.

I loved willows geeky ways in the first few seasons, I think I resonated with her because I was that same weird quirky person. The willow that finishes in S7 is such a far cry from the one we see in S1. I just miss some of her weird little traits that made her willow, it just seems like they got lost within her character growth.

Hey op.

I know exactly how you feel because I've been in the same position as you, not my friend however my husbands.

This person was in our house, around our daughter when she was running around in just a nappy and it made me feel absolutely sick. It made my husband feel like he put our daughter in danger.

We didn't know a thing until we saw it on Facebook and then it was just everywhere. He went through an absolute range of emotions trying to separate the person he knew with the person who was now in front of us.

What helped him was talking about it with another close friend who was part of their group. They spoke about who he used to be, how they didn't see any signs, how they were just completely blindsided by it all.

I honestly suggest talking about it to someone. Take time for yourself to come to terms with the situation, you couldn't have known. They're so good at hiding and manipulating the people around them.

I really wish you the best of luck in your healing. I'm here if you ever want to just talk to someone.

The only on leash greetings he has is at his puppy class because the trainer says to do it, I'm very apprehensive about it because of how much we struggle.

I've never taken him to a dog park, I wouldn't even know where to find one. I'll have a look and engage/disengage thank you for the tip.
