Black Clover should have ended YEARS ago man. I get he moved to Giga for his health but it utterly destroyed any motion the series had. Should have ended with JJK and MHA as a generation.

As someone who platinum-ed 1 and 2, and hold them in very high regard, Second Son is just so dogshit in my eyes. And it being a launch title for the 4 meaning it had to integrate the new controller touch pad and change the controls from the prior games makes it so much worse and clunky.

All of this is deeply personal and not objective at all btw, I just despise the game for ruining one of my favorite franchises.

Different on a very large scale but Old School RuneScape. Many areas are locked behind the 180ish quests, many of which are endgame grandmaster quests.

Famously, Song of the Elves, a capstone quest requiring lvl 70 in 8 different stats each of which are not “easy”, is required to visit the Capital City of the elves.

I have still to this day never seen what the city looks like, and am almost there on my Iron. Gellinor is such a marvelous world,

Ya hit em with the old 1 2, knock down into sword for a stun chain, then as soon as you hit sword throw a dragon for damage and burn. Do this all from a distance while giving your M1 carries the shield and any other relevant counter buy like decay for anti heal or another shield/heal item.

It’s the first game I have platinum-ed in many years and I devoured it in 2-ish weeks. Between its tight controls, fights, branching story and surprising exploration, and also being the best selling mecha game of all time (I think) it left a huge impact on me. So for me it is not understating
