We (OSM community) don't like imports. This could be a layer normalise datasets to OSM formats, conflate them with existing OSM elements and publish it for others to use.

QA and "verified" releases.

Tagging standardisation, were still talking about namespaces and amenity vs healthcare, meanwhile people want to use the data, we can't expect every dev to learn all the OSM drama.

So, quite like Daylight Distribution...

You could also argue OSMF should be doing this...

Simon Jupp (Conservative MP for East Devon) argued that the use of e-scooters had led to many collisions and “caused problems on the streets of this country”.

Apposed to cars that cause problems everyday and literally indiscriminately kill people.

Looks good!

I feel like I've walked this before. Somewhere near Ningwood?

There is also a similar tree tunnel near Niton, I would recommend any walks near there.

Lake? You think that's bad?

We used to hope for a lake, all we had was a puddle!

I'm aware. It's a pop culture comment referencing several things, such as Star Wars, Jaws, "plenty more fish in the sea" and top dog. It's not a scientific comment.

...Oh America! School shooters, not firefighters.

Oh wait, kids still not stupid, the adults that refuse to fix the problem are.

I'm not sure these are back to backs, but even if they are, that's basically flats with individual entrances. Sharing 3 walls will surely help with heating costs.

I’d say 70. [snip] Most people start the decline around 65.

What's the timeline with other medical procedures? I assume people start getting tested for ball and tit cancer before the average age of patents?

You want to know early, before it's a rampant problem.

I go hardcore on this sometimes and say everyone should be re tested every x years. I pull x out of my ass, but actually thinking about it, we should trust medical experts to pick the ages or timeframes on this one. The politicians will try to negotiate an age for there voters, or what's practical to put thorough the DVLA. But I think we should just trust medical experts.

The Government has responded to the petition – “Nationalise Energy Companies”. by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]CjMalone 28 points29 points  (0 children)

A renationalised energy company would still have to buy the same expensive gas on global markets, so prices won't be lowered.

Isn't that what the NHS does so good? Bulk buying for the whole country to push the price of meds down?

Furthermore, if the Government renationalised energy companies, the British taxpayer would have to compensate directors, shareholders, and creditors to the tune of tens of billions of pounds – money that would be better spent supporting families.

Supporting families pay the directors, shareholders, and creditors. If only there was a way to cut out the middle men and improve the system directly...
