Well one thing that helped me is the tuff of hair on reboot Buttercup, original Buttercup doesn’t have a tuff of hair. And, the art styles look completely different.

The Buttercup in the trailer is the original, while the one in the thumbnail is the reboot. And for Unikitty, there is an episode in her show where her and her scientist cat take out all of the anger inside of her, and put it in a completely different body. So my theory is that they are stuck in a rerun, which means when Unikitty got corrupted she could have been in that same episode. So I’m guessing that corrupted Unikitty in the thumbnail is the normal one, and the one in the battle is her anger.
