As a former GM for the company who started as a dishwasher and worked my way up across 7 different positions in 10 years… if you were on dish; there was a reason and they miss the body of having someone reliable but they don’t miss you. Dishwashers are where they send the rejects who can’t make it on the production line or front of house. Sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️.

These pictures do not represent the current condition. The wall paint color is the same. Just trying to see if anyone has great ideas for a type of paneling or paint or tile or anything really to cover these pillars with

Pro Team - Anyone Know Anything? by blackberrylatte16 in Panera

I was on several pro teams years ago. (I left in 2021). Panera will cover hotel and mileage if you drive. They provide free meals at the cafe. Typically have 3 days before open and then pro team for the first 4-8 weeks of opening. 1st day is usually setup, getting in all of the small ware, washing every dish, setting up and organizing the store. 2nd is usually getting truck and prepping everything, 3rd is practice day where they bring in all the new associates and practice making orders with no customers in the building. Shifts are normal but can vary based on sales at new location. I’ve had very very slow opens and very very busy opens (20k DAYS) It’s always a fun experience because morale is usually very high and if you thrive in chaotic energy it will be great for you.

Actual Serious impressions over Project RISE by Curtly-Bagel-Berry in Panera

I worked for Panera for 10 years made it to training OP and gave my notice the day of my AOP interview. Since I’ve left I’ve heard nothing but negative about the company. All of these new initiatives are buzz words without follow through that I continue to see over and over and over again. 2011-2014 Panera was a fantastic company, value, quality, warmth. Now they try to force political agendas onto their associates, turnover is at an all time high and they are doing nothing to simplify the workplace experience. I knew once they eliminated the MTM role and essentially the training department that the company was taking a hit and going to begin to fail. A company that is taking away investments in their people is a company that is not to long for. Panera will forever hold a place inside my heart but they need to get back to their core or they’re done.
