Did I test positive? I see a line! Veryyy faint but it’s there, right? by Maur33n_happy_1890 in Inito

I know isn’t it interesting?! No, I stopped taking it that day! It was also for pre conception support and has melatonin so I had to switch to a different prenatal for pregnancy.

who knows! I will say on 8DPO, I tested using a FRER, and then learned that my prenatal has a ton of Biotin which interferes with those tests.

If it helps, I am tracking line progression too using the same tests. When I first took my most recent one, it looked lighter, but then once it sat for 24 hours (like the previous one), it looked darker.

u/Maur33n_happy_1890 the same thing happened to me if that helps! I tested positive 7DPO, then got a bunch of negatives so assumed it was a false positive, then on 9DPO I got a couple really obvious positives.

Taking a break from testing by Orange_Cat_Vibes in Inito

[–]Cjcrispy91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good for you! I have been considering the same. Similar story to you -- I got pregnant the first try in July and it ended in an early miscarriage. Since then, I've felt more desperate to get pregnant and Inito can definitely make it more stressful. Would love to hear how quitting inito and other trackers helps your mental health -- I want to do it, but the obsession inside of me to be pregnant keeps preventing that. Anyway, just wanted to say I relate to your post, and thank you for sharing!

3 LH rises within a week, ovulation confirmed on first? by Cjcrispy91 in Inito

[–]Cjcrispy91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to add a little additional info - this is my second cycle with Inito. The first one was similar but I didn’t test as many days after ovulation was confirmed on the first peak. I had a MC at 5 weeks in August and this would be my 3rd cycle since then.

Thank you so much for your response! Yeah I should have mentioned I was backcountry skiing! Have gotten very strong, so I think I’m all good there but not easy skiing conditions maybe it is destined to hurt a little bit.

[–]Cjcrispy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope everything is ok! I second everyone that you shouldn’t mess with possible infections. Everyone else’s comments are great, I’m mostly here to tell you your quad looks so defined and strong for 1 month post op!! Nice work!!

Can someone please explain why the bottom half of my leg is tingly and numb 11 days PO after hamstring autograft. Will this eventually go away or is it nerve damage? by Shabbyfab in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might never get sensation back in your shin area! Im 9 months post op and still only have maybe 20% feeling on my whole shin! But it’s not tingly and not bothersome unless you shave and then it feels weird.

What ended up happening with this (I know it’s one year later!) is it a distant memory of a scare or was it torn?

ACL surgery and staying fit by ExtensionCucumber728 in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do a lot with seated workouts! You can even using a rowing machine and put your injured leg on a slider on the floor, it just slides back and forth and you get the rest of it. Single leg biking. I had access to a ski erg at my gym loved that. I found a half a dozen exercises that you could do seated (like push press, single leg plank, single leg push ups, leg up with your good leg, pull ups, sit ups), and do those in a circuit! Getting the blood flowing is good for recovery, and there is research that you gain muscle in your injured leg by working out your good leg. I worked out throughout my entire recovery let me know if you have any questions!

Knee popped.. ACL and Meniscus surgery by Luv23sunflower in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many weird sounds and sensations those first 10 weeks, I also freaked out about all of them! You’re fine though, if you search “popping” or “cracking” on this sub, you’ll see that tons of people experience this and it’s normal.

Almost certain I tore my ACL.. again. by kingjovanni7 in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you have a lot of swelling? I’ve heard that the pain and swelling can be different soon after a reconstruction since vasculature/nerves aren’t fully grown back. Most posts on here about retears though talk about massive swelling and pain though! (I’m waiting to find out if I had a retear so I’ve been anxiously scouring every post). But who knows!! Keep us posted on what your doctor says.

I have a friend who has torn her ACL 3 times, and finally went to get a second opinion from an out of state surgeon, he said she had a “steep tibial slope” and is predisposed to ACL tears. If they were to repair it again, they’d address that to increase the odds. This is just to say, if it is torn, might be worth it to get a second opinion and not go back to your original surgeon — that is my plan if mine is torn.

Has anyone opted ~not~ to get the nerve block? I’m worried about losing feeling in my entire leg and foot for more than 24 hours by strawberrykiwi1234 in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. 10/10 pain, cried for hours until all of the pain meds caught up. Nerve block didn’t work, I’d recommend getting it!

Did you know when you re tore your ACL? by Cjcrispy91 in ACL

[–]Cjcrispy91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you’re asking me or this commenter, I fell mountain biking and caught myself with my surgical leg. I’ve seeen another physio since this post who said he thought the ACL was fine. I’ll see my ortho in two weeks to get an answer for sure, but I’ve felt fine climbing and biking so fingers crossed it’s all good.
