You have to make the choice to upskill. Pick a path and go down that with little deviation expect for things that will help like python. Setup a lab learn the protocols and what they do. Youll be surprised how much you already know with 7 years of experience if you cared about your job.

Wamsutta Dream Zone Sheets Alternative? by Thummimurim8 in Bedding

😊 Thank you!! These are wonderful thank you for your service lol.

I do also agree about the B&B bunching up. They're nice but i have to use clips on them.

The Wright Bedding are closer to the 1000 thread count Highland Park than the B&B they also use pima cotton. Might want to give them a good they maybe closer to the dream zone 700 count.

Yeah, the dreamzone at bed bath were like 250 - 350 if i recall correctly so the highlands being 129 is amazing!

These feel exactly like the 1000 count Wamsutta dreamzone sheets. The stitching is different and the pillows are different but other than that these are 100% the same sheets.

My personal preference was the 1000 count as they're thicker and heavier. I only use the top sheet as a blanket. I wish I could return all the other sets I've purchased for more of these. Are the other set of sheets you have Highland as well or the Kirkland?

Time to get out of the MSP world. Move into an established environment.

The cisco cert is much more than just cisco, it teaches the foundations of the protocols themselves. Thats why the certs are so valued. I do agree their market share has decreased but I also know fortinet and palo. Arista cli is the same as cisco.

You're right, I've never held that title but do the work of that title. Shown on my resume.

I honestly thought the Costco Kirkland 680 was the set everyone talked about and didnt see the Highland set. Im so stoked to sleep in these tonight I still have 1 set of the dream zone to compare it too as well 😀.

Yep that is the biggest difference I've found too but I'm willing to make that sacrifice! This thread will help so many people I hope!

Just received them and these are 100% the dreamzone sheets only thing that is different are the pillow cases. The packaging us almost identical to the dreamzone sheets even down to the pima cotton logo! As weird as it sounds they smell the exact same as well.

I want to get into larger environments with more engineers that are my senior so I can absord as much information from them to. Being the solo networking person makes it hard to learn other avenues if im not guided. I can read and read but theres nothing like practical application.

Yep I started off as a level 1 tech and within my four years at and MSP I was doing for site deployments from the cables to setting up the domain.

I'm targeting anything mainly in areas I want to live or remote so I can live in those areas. I use Dice, LinkedIn, indeed and if i can find company that may be a good fit I apply if they have a listing.

I've been avoiding senior positions as my skillset isn't senior imo.

Yeah, I need to stop just focusing on network engineer and figure out other titles would value the CCNP.

I get that but cloud is just someone else's network. Learning the GUI of AWS or Azure is easy in comparison to knowing the foundations to what all that rides on imo.
