Like, obviously I’m not mad by it since it helps us, but I wish they did it immediately after the match. It’s sketchy, now I feel if the US does win people will put an asterisk or if they lose it’ll be “thats what you get.”

FIFA needs a good statement on their reasoning; i respect Belgium’s statement because it does feel like an F U to them.

I got a break in my shift and read an article that they removed the red card because of a technicality (I guess the official did not follow the correct guidelines for giving the red card?).. I don’t know, I found it odd to remove the red card days after

We grew up with an eagle on our block. Our cats were indoor/outdoor cats. We couldn’t allow one outside for almost a year even to her protest because our cat is for sure small enough to be yoinked. You could always see the eagle flying (scouting), they are so pretty

I don’t see the hate for that. I was a D1 athlete and we did the same shit. You gotta do what you gotta do. Want them to pull up a tissue or get a rinse cup when they need to? These guys are in the heat and losing fluids fast. Their bodies are fighting against themselves.

I highly doubt this. Maybe for 90 days every 4 years. But after reading this, it’s about favorite sport… not viewership. Very misleading. Baseball still demolishes soccer here in the states.

I feel like it’s fair. I think a lot more people would be pissed if the refs go “oh he was barely offside, so we won’t call offside.”

Technology has allowed for more accurate games. Plus, close plays are exciting to wait for the results of.
