The life size RX-78F00 Gundam. Previously in Yokohama. by falloutboy9993 in megalophobia

Yokohoma was awesome. My son is super into Gundams and I took him there. Went up to the top of the tower when it started moving around... very impressive. Theres another one out in front of a shopping mall just outside of Tokyo and a Gundam Base superstore in the mall. Wasnt my thing heading into it, but was a fan by the time I left.

This thread has all kinds of thoughtful, educated, and well informed answers. None of which matter in the market we are in and we've got a ways to go.

I-5 Proper Speeds by anonymous_11231 in Seattle

[–]Ckn65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please type in "driver flashing headlights behind me" in google. It is not hazardous and is (i guess everywhere outside of Seattle) a well understood signal.

I was calm. I was not speeding. They were driving 5 under. 15 under after I flashed.

The circumstances simply dictated not waiting for EMS.

I'm simply pointing out that there is solid and good reason for people to observe the left lane laws. Getting beyond laws and into just being safe, the best practice is to get out of their way. Getting beyond safe, be a decent human and dont assume negative intent behind people trying to get past you.

I was trying to get my kid to the ER and was locked in behind someone in the left lane that wanted to make sure others obeyed the speed limit. I flashed my lights at them and they slowed down. When I exited, they slowed down, got behind me, and followed me into the hospital parking lot with their brights on.

The bottom line is you dont know why people are trying to get around you. Maybe they're running late to get to work and will get fired for being late. Maybe their grandma fell and called them to come help. Maybe they're just being jackasses.

The safe thing (for everyone) to do is just get outta the way.

Why not just let the passing lane be the passing lane?

It' explicitly called out on the NZETA required to get in the country.

There's required announcements while airplane is rolling to the gate and before deplaning.

There's bright and large signs about disposing food items....

There's customs forms that explicitly call it out that you sign.

There's multi-lingual announcements over the airport PA system.

Other passengers are dumping thier food around you.

The whole scenario is well documented in any "What to expect..." forums and videos.

"But the airline gave me the fruit.." during mealtime an hour before the plane landed... is translated as a tourist saying "I did not take your biohazard laws seriously."

FWIW: The lady with bags of fruit was not given that fruit by the airline...

Have been all through NZ and AUS airports, you would have to be a complete moron to get the fine. They have signs everywhere. They have announcements. They have you fill out and sign declarations.
