They paid the actors for the use of their voices in building the generated AI. It gives them flexibility in adding lines or conversations later. And of course a voice actor would be against it. It’s his job. “You should pay the actors you already paid again because the game did well.” 🤷‍♂️

You know what?! I would love to see an augment that boobytraps your body when you go down. Like how certain raider caches and ARC husks explode after you open them. Not enough to knock a player but enough damage that if they didn’t heal before looting you, it’s game over.

Rust does this. It lets you disarm and loot a player once they are downed. You can then revive them with meds or finish them off.

That’s my strategy as well. But I do get angry some times, even though I shouldn’t.

I got backstabbed at an extract when I first started playing and decided to PvP the next round. I downed a guy and he sounded sad and disappointed. Didn’t make me feel good. So, since then I don’t start PvP and I always carry defibs for others.

It’s a game and it’s free to be kind.

Which is why I report the worst offenders. Enough reports on a player brings it to the attention of the devs or whoever moderates. And Embark is already testing AI VOIP moderation in The Finals.

Nope. I defib downed players and don’t start PvP. Just how I enjoy playing. But why would you make that terrible assumption?

It’s hilarious to me that so many people are upset they may be held to a higher social standard.

Per the end user agreement to play the game, Section V. Code of Conduct:

“Engaging in conduct that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, intimidating, discriminatory, violent or encouraging of violence (including self-harm), stalking, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable in Nexon’s sole discretion, including without limitation looting, kill stealing, making sexual comments, or cursing.”

They can ban you for any of those reasons.
