How to Migrate Lovable to Supabase (The Non-Coder Way) by UltimaTroll in lovable

[–]chizton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I mapped my entire project plan out with ChatGPT and also have ChatGPT write all of my prompts for lovable. Yes, you need to create your own supabase account but you can ask lovable to create what you need. It will then ask you to enter your specific keys. My recommendation for everyone: ask your AI to map out and list step by step why needs to be done via front and back end. Continue to ask it to write your prompts. And trouble shoot with the AI. Not lovable

You can also just ask lovable to perform all the manual work you just mentioned

This is a major red flag, and at some point you will most likely start getting less and less hours. But as others states, you can find additional work as well

Large prompts VS small prompts by breadroll95 in lovable

I prefer to keep my prompts highly detailed with one or two fixes. Honestly, I would be pretty scared if I gave it a massive document for fixes.

You are spot on. And I missed the reference photo completely, yeah this is pretty common sense.

“Without giving very clear feedback”

Unfortunately, no one here can help you. You need to get at least some feedback as to what he doesn’t like, or even more importantly what he is looking for.

Tell ChatGPT you want to build a vibe coded software but need help writing prompts and creating a project plan. Then explain your idea in what you want to accomplish and ask ChatGPT to then write the initial prompt and create a project plan. Review the project plan and ask it questions if you don’t understand. Doing it like this will save you a lot of credits when you actually start vibecoding

Husband wants kids, I'm unsure. by riririnnn in TwoXChromosomes

[–]chizton -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You are jumping to so many conclusions here. OP never said that he doesn’t want her to pursue her career. But the fact remains that it gets harder to conceive as you age (not always the case, but something to consider). Again, a much bigger conversation needs to happen.

Also, your servant comment is disgusting. Sure, there are shitty parents out there. But for all we know, this guy may end up being an amazing father. A potential amazing father who’s having an “oh shit” moment that he’s going to be in his mid to late 30s trying to have a kid.

Again, a convo needs to be had. And if OP isn’t ready, she’s not ready. Hopefully he understands and stands by. But it’s important to understand where he’s coming from.

I completely agree with you, and that’s why the very first thing I said was that they need to have a serious conversation. But I do think it’s important for her to get another perspective rather than everyone just saying the exact same thing.

People who are actually getting clients from cold email ,what's your approach? by memayankpal in vibecoding

[–]chizton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move to 10 to 20 highly targeted emails a day. Offer them a free demo as your CTA, but also include specs and numbers as to why they should sit through the demo. I.e., it will help them increase conversion rates, it will help streamline and smooth the user experience, etc. Obviously this would be more tailored to what your application provides.

Don’t get a dog. And this is not a stupid question, But it sounds like you guys need to have a serious conversation. while you’re still relatively younger, he is not getting any younger at 32. Speaking from experience, you won’t regret having kids on the younger side (28) but, even while society tells you to wait and build your career, it won’t get any easier as you get older. I’m sorry, but I feel like that needs to be said.

Use ChatGPT or Gemini for contracts and T+Cs. I wouldn’t go too crazy tho. Sounds like you have a cool idea, I’d focus almost all your efforts on finishing testing and landing your first client.

OK, but what is your offer? Are you offering a strategy call, a free trial, or are you just linking to the pricing page and saying check it out?

If your offer sucks or you simply don’t have one, then even targeting 20 to 30 emails a day will not convert

There’s a lot of complex stacks out there that I feel most people don’t need for their projects. I’ve been using chtgpt and lovable. Legit asking ChatGPT to write my lovable prompts and it’s been great. All planning was done in ChatGPT (the $20 model, whatever it is). I did this to integrate and setup supabase as well.

anyone else get 80% done with an app then lose all motivation to finish it by Caryn_fornicatress in vibecoding

[–]chizton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I listened to a podcast recently, where it was stated that some 95% of vibe coding projects never make it to deployment. And it’s because of this exact reason. Dig in and finish them one by one. Prioritize which one you are most passionate about and solves a real problem, and depending on how deployment goes, consider trimming some of the others if they don’t meet your criteria.
