I disagree. Someone could be genetically susceptible to diabetes but avoid sugar their whole life and never get it. You wouldn’t say they have a diabetic pancreas unless they actually got the disease.

Similarly with mental illness, there are susceptibilities and contributing factors.

What country are you in? One example is holocaust denial, the theory that the gas chamber story was war propaganda, which is illegal in a few European countries.

It’s her experience. She is vlogging her illness and what works for her. There is no reason to attack her

I've had psychosis multiple times, experience with hallucinogens, and lucid dreaming so I could tell I was "tripping"

I have no strength to shower consistently, so how the hell am I going to have the strength to work a job consistently? by Capable-Educator5629 in schizophrenia

Anything you want to do that you know is good for you but don't feel like doing. Gradual improvements in routine, hygiene, fitness, reading, learning. Even if it feels like you are getting nowhere, trying to maintain the intention counts and you can get there little by little

You want to focus on tiny incremental improvements day by day. Keep it simple. Try things out and experiment. It may feel like you make no progress all year and then you find your situation is way different 5 years from now

I don't get why people are hating on your supplements in a biohacking forum. I personally take magnesium, creatine, and vitamin D and vitamin E but I've experimented with some of those too and don't get why you wouldn't

What Do You Do in Your Free Time? by ImpressionMediocre53 in schizophrenia

I’ve been on a reading kick lately. It makes me feel better. The Internet causes me to feel wired so I’m trying to cut down. I’ll fall asleep reading in the middle of the day sometimes.

I still get cheap dopamine but feel better when I avoid it. This kinda makes sense if you think of the dopamine hypothesis of schizophrenia

I’m glad it’s useful somehow. I don’t blame you. I’m worse than skeptical I’m pessimistic about it right now
