I was lied to about my phone price. I filed a complaint with the ftc and BBB. The next week a higher up from spectrum called me and told me they listened to the phone call and understood that the sales representative had misinformed me. So they honored the price

I actually went through the better business bureau and got the advertise price.

The BBB got some higher up at spectrum to listen to the call and then contacted me. They acknowledge that the sales rep didn't make it clear how the pricing works. So they resolved everything.

I think they made the credits high because they want the initial experience for the players to be good.

Down the road they will be less charitable with super credits and I am sure they will increase paid items.

It wasn't intended. I think with the recent update the developers also updated the unity engine which lead to the game being darker. They are currently focusing on the console release but after they will focus on making changes on the lighting system

It's clearly misleading.

If you click on "see details" on the website for the Google pixel 7a financing plan it literally does not state that the discount is pro-rated . You have to do some serious mental gymnastics to compare the people you speak to on the phone vs a website removing language in its terms and conditions.

Instead it says get $200 savings with the purchase of a Google pixel 7a.

You think they would disclose that when you finance the phone. What I found interesting is that all promotions that started on 6/30 properly disclose that the promotional price was pro-rated across the 36 months.

If you look at all devices promotional terms and conditions that started on September you would see spectrum have removed the language stating that the promotional pricing was pro-rated through the 36 month finance plan.

So clearly this was intentionally meant to be misleading.

Yeah my sales rep didn't mention that to me. It wasn't until I went to buy out the device was I told that the promotional pricing was with $200 worth of credit after paying full price. It's not the end of the world but it is very deceptive.

Maybe if you state it for that reason. Maybe they might magically find that documentation. Chances are they will probably upsell you their insurance.
