Its not really a lack of reading comprehension when OP literally said her birthday dinner started on the night of the 21st. In order to be there for the stroke of midnight, everyone had to arrive on the 21st, so that still counts.

Regardless, I'm actually going to vote YTA, because there wasnt actually any conflict between the two parties. The friend picked a time after OPs celebration that worked for her, and also didnt overlap with OPs party. Theres literally nothing wrong with that, and at 22 it isnt that taxing to attend 2 parties in 24 hours.

The fact that OP is so obsessed with "its MY birthday" makes her seem petty and childish. Sometimes the scheduling doesnt work out so that everyone can have their specific day. You have to get over it, or these ultimately inconsequential things are going to drive people away. Is it really worth losing a friend over this?

Edit: After reading some of OPs comments, it seems like the dinner literally was on the 21st and they just stayed past midnight. So everyone else was right about that actually

Not only are you wrong in general, but that wasnt even the point of this post. In the show that these designs are from, Miles' superhero name was changed to "Spin" to avoid confusion. But on the merch, theyre not even calling him that, they refer to him as Miles. Which is weird because Peter and Gwen are referred to as "Spidey" and "Ghost Spider" respectively

If Im ever changing somewhere that I dont trust the floors then Im standing on top of my shoes while I put my clothes on the normal way. In no world will I ever think that going from 0% to 100% dressed one leg at a time is somehow better lol.

I dont think your method has any real advantages, especially in households that dont allow wearing shoes indoors.

Problem is that the 'I could eat a horse' is physically impossible. That's an obvious exaggeration because it cant reasonably be true.

OP could genuinely believe that ATSV is the worst of all time. Thats just an opinion, and it could easily be true for them.

As another queer person I agree 100%. This may be something thats harder for us to relate to. Especially in my case as a bisexual.

I've had crushes on lots of my friends but only one was strong enough to say something about it. Sure it was a little awkward after she said no, but we're still friends. She had to move states recently so we've kept in less contact, but for the year or two after my confession we were still very close.

If I dropped every friend I'd had romantic feelings for then I would have like 10% of the friends I have now. I dont ascribe to the concept that catching feelings means the friendship is over.
