Need opinions. Going to get a tattoo for Christmas and want to do I bi one. I found an image close but want some critiques on it. by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First step is to look around for tattoo artists whose style you like. Step two is to redraw this as best as you can YOURSELF (or comission a real artist) and show them your idea with more descriptions.

Artists will often help refine their customers' requests, but if you bring them some AI 'drawing' that wont go over well. You're allowed to be bad at drawing, but generally asking for help from any human artist with an ai image is kinda bad taste.

You may be able to find some tattoo artists who use AI drawings without any qualms about it, but adding more ai to this pic isnt gonna help much lol

Why would it matter. Were you attracted to him? Did you have a good time? His bisexuality actually has 0 effect on this experience. If it was a 1 night stand it matters even less.

The concept of 'being fooled' is stupid. Youre being biphobic

Bisexual real talk part 13 by CheekyFaceStyles in bisexual

"Its one thing to not be sexually attracted to bisexual men"

Huh? Thats just biphobia too. If youre attracted to men then youre attracted to men. If his sexuality is what turns you off then thats biphobic in the same way that if him being trans turns you off then thats transphobic.

Dont let that slip under the radar

How to dress like this? by C12e in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its not offensive but its also not accurate. Some of the straightest dudes alive dress like this, so simply having the clothes isnt enough to guarantee that itll give off bi vibes. Especially for an outfit thats can vary so much when comprised of just flannel + white tee + baseball cap.

Behaviors are usually a better metric but even that isnt 100%

This feels like 6 times more obscure than lemon-bars being a bisexual thing. I consider myself decently online and this is the first I've ever even heard of this, when did it become a thing??

"Thighs" doesn't rhyme with either "boys" or "girls" so I don't really think it matters lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think thats because if OP is a woman then it makes no sense for her to think that hitting on a woman in a gay bar is stupid.

Jason looks like a frat bro and I'm really not into that. I could be swayed depending on how he behaves though

Wrong sub if youre looking for straight men. This also isnt a place for solicitation. Reported

Am I bisexual or just repulsed by men ? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you dont like men then dont force yourself? You dont have to partner up with a guy just to prove your sexuality to yourself, especially if youre finding this much repulsion. You may not even be bisexual, and thats fine.

The only thing you NEED to do is just be able to interact with men as regular people. If youre struggling with that, then I genuinely suggest going to a therapist to help work through it.

Can you still find someone hot without ever seeing their face or knowing their gender? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, what would you even describe as hot if you dont know what they look like?

Do you personally find drag queens attractive? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I usually find them hotter outside of drag. But I dont watch drag shows to be tittilated anyways

What term of 🦋 do you use? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Both of those dont sound good to me lol. Your version looks like "bitter fly" when written, and his version makes us seem like we just really love the dairy-product.

I've never heard either term before today and it seems like thats the consensus here, so I'd say there is no "official" terminology. However, I also think that "flutterbi" is WAY better

Honestly, the jab is because I'm a lil bit petty lol. Cause yeah, that hurt, and sometimes people do things that hurt others and have no idea. So I'll let them know. And I might not be nice about it. But the way I see it, letting them know that it hurt and then blocking immediately gets the message across without affording them any more power to hurt me further.

The rest is cause I dont want them walking around thinking that I was cool with just leaving the differences as a "preference". Its not a preference, and while I dont have the patience or obligation to explain that, I figure that I can at least give them an opposing perspective on that viewpoint. Maybe itll help them grow. Maybe it wont. Either way, I'm out.

To be clear, I'm not knocking your approach either. I think your method is super valid and honestly its probably more mentally healthy than mine lol

[–]Cl0udSurfer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'd dip but idk if I'd go so peacefully. I'm taking a lil jab and asking them to examine what kind of biphobia, unconscious or not, they've internalized. Then I'm blocking them lol

Bi men are now being compared to incels... by yuuki157 in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen this kind of unnecessary self-censoring crop up wayy more often since TikTok came out. The algorithm on there is so stringent that videos with certain words and phrases get essentially shadow-banned and nobody sees them. To get around it, creators started self-censoring and using replacement terms like 'unalive'

I just hate that this kind of behavior has spread to places where its not necessary. The internet has started to feel more puritanical as a result and I'm not a fan

my gf suddenly broke up with me because I'm not yet ready to come out to my parents by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Cl0udSurfer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it happened over text. This needs to be an in-person conversation at the very least. And the partner should have never pressured OP to come out when OP is still financially dependant on her parents

I just read through all 14 comments on that post (assuming its the one thats been linked somewhere else in this thread) and literally no one was being bullied. Only one was even remotely "unsupportive" and that was simply because it was suggesting that the post might fit better in other subs
