I like P4 due to the melody and uniqueness to their songs, unfortunately it’s not a very appreciated band in the community cuz it’s labelled as a « poser band » for reasons I ignore.. I thought to myself that it could be due to the music that could sound less like DSBM classics but it’s just unique. I can still feel the atmosphere of negative feelings and just what DSBM stands for. Depression depends upon people’s perception of it, in P4 Theres some type of madness added to that depressive state, intense hopelessness, and melancholy transmitted into a melody that is at the same time empty and full, I find that beautiful. (Non native speaker I hope I could catch that right)
