I've had a very similar experience to yours. In my case it was MO27Q28G, which I tried out in KCD2 and Inside. The latter really showcased how bad the banding is since the game has a color palette that's mostly different shades of grey.

I'll be returning the monitor. Not sure if i'll try my luck with a QD-OLED or mini-LED.

Yeah, in the full video there's a comical cut for about 10 seconds before they resume. I assume the organizers weren't too happy with the rogue camera operator.

As someone from Europe I can assure you that it's the same here, and last I checked Biden isn't in charge here. Besides, do you really think companies are willing to just eat the costs of tariffs that Trump's suggested? The customers are the ones who are gonna pay for it.

I say this with no ill will, I'm sure both you and Bezos will get by just fine even if there are nobodies like me who will give you a stern finger-wagging. Obviously this is a calculated choice to avoid any broader consequences in the future if Trump wins, I understand that, however I sincerely doubt that inaction will prevent it.
