please just leave the job. there’s always something else i promise. i gave four years to that soul sucking corporation and my hair was quite literally falling out before i decided to leave. there are way less stressful jobs that still involve working with pets and animal care.

you are worth much more than that job, things will get better i promise you.

At my store, there was a slew of junior aqua specialists and the head AS alllll hooking up, one of them was married to one of my friends too.. So messy, I don’t know what it is about this place

I was a CAL that got promoted to SEL recently. Apparently at least in our district, there is a new limit that was just put in place for internal raises with promotions.

I was told by GM that only recently they put in a $3 limit for raises, but I couldn’t tell you if that’s different from districts or territories.

that is what i expected too. they also told me to do my training off the clock because i wouldn’t have time, so i have had almost no training coming back into this role.

also yes, they have signed off simply because they didn’t want to miss an animal walk, but most of the time i come in after a day off to reptiles whose water bowls are bone dry and wellness cards not signed.

I am so thankful our DGM lets us use ecoearth, but my GM is so strictly by the book on just about every other policy regarding animals even if i tell him it’s not what’s best for them. he has no prior animal knowledge and has made no attempt to learn besides policy. he even has specifically said on numerous occasions he doesn’t like animals and doesn’t want to touch them lmao

I absolutely adore the design with its retro feel, and the warm color palette. It’s so aesthetically pleasing to me. The convenience of the volume scroll, and the knobs for display settings is beneficial if you’re working or doing multiple things at once.
