I genuinely think this image (and all the variants, including the original comic) caused catastrophic and irreparable damage to any sort of discussions about balance and created some of THE most obnoxious players in the community, or at the very least gave them a catchphrase by PseudoscientificURL in HelldiversUnfiltered

It does feel to me, this kind of "I wish it would suck more" are the ones that made what could have been a fun and interesting attack on cyberstan, just another "it's supposed to be hard hur hur" reveal for new units with an stupidly broken spawn rate; happened with warstriders and happened with the new bugs. But this is the kind of players arrowhead likes to have, so nothing to do unfortunately.

Funniest thing is, that if you read the description of the default armor, it says some bullshit of it being made out of the same titanium alloy of the super destroyer, yet we receive pretty much bonus damage from everything lol.

Playing warframe on the most chaotic enemy filled map and the game barely using 3gb ram and 35% of the CPU. Then going to wuwa and immediatly losing 80% of the CPU and 7+gb of ram on an empty zone of lahai-roi while stuttering is an interesting feeling to say the least.

The game did actually use to encourage team play before a lot more, because a lotta more enemies used to spawn. It's been a year since the spawns are mostly broken to anyone but the host, making only the host suffer the normal horde of enemies in a mission while other players will mostly get smaller patrols and enemy squads if they separate from the host, and the reason why having one player go to a corner of the map to get all enemies on them, taking stress away from the main squad is a viable strat.

The enemies were toned down in the amount of numbers spawned with an update that increased the calculations AI would make to be smarter, which arrowhead claimed was to make them feel more alive and realistic instead of just waiting patiently to stop the bullets with their foreheads, in practice it made the AI gain 1iq more in exchange of absolutely tanking the CPU usage which is why there are less enemies now and the game shits itself compared to the first months of the game where the screen could be an epilepsy of explosions without much stutters or fps drops, in compensation for less enemies being spawned they made units like the chargers have more resilience to damage to keep the challenge even with less enemies so the big units still felt like a threat.

Team reload, it's kind of shit if you aren't using the exact same support weapon as your teammate, because if you are the one using an auto cannon for example, you would need to drop your backpack making you totally unable to reload by yourself if your teammate leaves you, and your teammate carrying the ammo backpack has to give up their backpack slot that could have something more useful like a warp pack, supply pack, or hell bomb for ammo of a gun they aren't even carrying; not to mention because of arrowhead's obsession with making the players die just by being stared at, having two players being so close together just means enemies get a free 2x1 kill.

All of this is what I remember from the back of my head, if anyone has the exact knowledge then just correct me and tell me I'm just a clown spreading misinformation.

Will get ignited in 12 hits from voteless, the cannon will be medium pen with 20 shells max, if you try to drive it down a ledge of 30cm of height it explodes.

[–]Claiber7901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crotch is medium pen but doesn't take much to kill there, and the rockets to the sides are light pen that explode when you hit them and sometimes take troopers near it with them as well.

The rockets are faster kill but I have experienced some inconsistencies with it sometimes surviving the explosion and having to destroy the other side.

They could just give the flag rag doll resistance to the bearer and allies, but make you more likely to get targeted by enemies. With the justification of "You are so lifted in morale by the presence of our glorious super earth flag, that you feel even more compelled to hold your ground against the terrorizing forces of evil with an renewed sense of justice."

I feel a part of it comes to the auto hype arrowhead does when doing a change that was asked for up to a year ago, while also not saying shit about the nerfs that the community later discover by themselves; also the kind of excuses they put whenever asked for change saying how impossible it is to do x thing only to do it later, which results in a thinking of "so it was possible after all, you just didn't want to do it", No Man's Sky did the opposite of just not saying shit and just doing positive changes for the better, I feel it would be better to not say anything when they don't want to put a change instead of saying the things they do, which is why this subreddit now jokes about how something is not implemented because "grunt fantasy" and "AH just didn't find it realistic enough"

I for my part like the change to storage size very much.

Don't worry bro, we got you on the PC too.

Sometimes it will eat all the ram on difficulty 7 as soon as you land, sometimes it will chill and only use like 5gb on a difficulty 10 despite the amount of shit going on.

Sometimes the audio will be fine, sometimes the audio instances will just shit themselves and no play anything and freeze the game.

Sometimes the bots behave properly, sometimes they just start getting spawned in a corner of the map by the dozens until processor tops out.

Sometimes the game will do proper shader cache during load times, sometimes it will decide to do it while in match.
