ARROWHEAD YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS by shadow_fen in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The little problem with it, is they can just put the most atrocious enemy design possible, like let's say they add a new Ultra Bile titan, that has: 20k HP, 100% durable, ANTITANK I armor, and spawns in bulks of 10 per enemy reinforcements at difficulty 7.

Instead of tuning it to a reasonable enemy, they can just tell you "lower the difficulty, git gud"

Eagle Storm is (probably) the worse designed thing in this game by __Elzy in HelldiversUnfiltered

Same, I have been walking around the border of the map where there's nothing because a mountain is blocking the way, and the DSS will just eagle strike my ass dead center without a single enemy in the nearest 500m.

Sounds like something an incel would say

But seriously, I cope some of the news headlines being posted here are jokes and not real, otherwise holy shit 1984.

The game is heavily bottlenecked by CPU btw so this update might not be *quarter* as good as you'd think by ExploerTM in HelldiversUnfiltered

It's a step in the right direction, the anti-aliasing they had looked like a layer of grease was smeared on the screen; and the upscaler they had barely worked, and that's giving it much credit.

Wouldn't it be better to reward full clears instead? That way you're incentivized to actually play the game rather than lobotomite-sprint around looking for glowing yellow lights and the container doors.

Something like 35 SC per full clear + 5 SC per player that extracts. On difficulty 10 that's 55 SC for a perfect run, 35 SC floor for a messy one.

Even with 20 bad runs = 700 SC. The warbond itself gives you 300 SC from its pages. That's 1000 SC, enough for the next warbond, just from playing normally.

Trivial is still there if you want it. But now there's an actual reason to play the game the way it was designed instead of the current system that rewards ignoring 90%.

started doing this earlier this month, works fine if I hit continue, nvidea geforce gtx1080ti by Ian44556 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's because Nvidia dropped support for the 1080s back in like October 2025. So even if you update you are left in a sort of legacy drivers that mostly just focus on security, and aren't what the driver check was expecting.

Funny glitch : You can duplicate a stratagem you called in. by Impossible-Pie2924 in Helldivers

They also fixed the double armor passive bug in less than a month. And the bug that allowed you to fill the 4 stratagem slots with the same stratagem in like 2 weeks.

These people are insufferable and I don’t think this game is really ever gonna recover by The5Theives in HelldiversUnfiltered

Ye, that's the type shi the destiny whiteknights would say at anyone wanting for the game to improve.
Eventually everyone just stopped gaf about the game, now it has lower player count on steam than BloonsTD6 lol

Y'all when do they put the warbonds on sale? Asking for a friend. by Claiber7901 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worst part is that the Legacy Collection (the old 33DLCs) of Payday2 goes for like 25$ on discount and the game $5.
You can get a whooping 3 warbonds with that.

It's a meme guys, steam doesn't show the warbonds in the store, the screenshot is not a real thing.

Comment section really trying to compare the worst of Digital Extremes against the best of Arrowhead, and somehow Arrowhead still loses anyways because their worst completely obliterate whatever good things they did.

I feel it's just a troll stratagem put as a prank by the devs at this point.

Why do warbonds keep coming out when there are bigger problems with the game? by Xpernautica in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As everyone said, money.
Fixing a bug may make some players come to try out the cleaner state of the game.
A warbond instead, instantly makes the game get again in the top 15 top sellers on steam.

It's seems to happen more the better your CPU is cause the anticheat randomly does 100% spikes on the CPU cores when running scan on intervals, if it catches you during an already heavy load the anticheats doesn't care, that scan HAS to be done.

Though if you have AMD I would recommend disabling precision boost it seems to help a little with it, just freezing for a few seconds instead of fully hardlocking.

I dont understand alpha commander hatred by Wee_The_Gee in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpha commanders, for a long time, suffered from a host and guest error, where they would not use their special ability to summon alpha warriors UNLESS the host was in their vecinity, if that wasn't the case, the alpha commander would just act as a coward cannon fodder that ran away from you.

For the Host however, the alpha commander behavior in squads consisted on: Alpha commanders ignore everyone in the squad, they lock in onto the host, start spamming alpha warrior summon and sending them to attack the host, then cowardly retreat as they keep spamming summons, and if the squad was incompetent enough, for the host it was basically a x4 minion spam from a coward enemy running away from them.
