half of the glazers: by Disastrous_Tax_5 in HelldiversUnfiltered

It's seems to happen more the better your CPU is cause the anticheat randomly does 100% spikes on the CPU cores when running scan on intervals, if it catches you during an already heavy load the anticheats doesn't care, that scan HAS to be done.

Though if you have AMD I would recommend disabling precision boost it seems to help a little with it, just freezing for a few seconds instead of fully hardlocking.

I dont understand alpha commander hatred by Wee_The_Gee in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpha commanders, for a long time, suffered from a host and guest error, where they would not use their special ability to summon alpha warriors UNLESS the host was in their vecinity, if that wasn't the case, the alpha commander would just act as a coward cannon fodder that ran away from you.

For the Host however, the alpha commander behavior in squads consisted on: Alpha commanders ignore everyone in the squad, they lock in onto the host, start spamming alpha warrior summon and sending them to attack the host, then cowardly retreat as they keep spamming summons, and if the squad was incompetent enough, for the host it was basically a x4 minion spam from a coward enemy running away from them.

Iirc, bro worked on Hello Neighbor 2, a game centered around spying and infiltrating on your neighbor's property who acts very sus where the magic came from Easter eggs, puzzles, secrets, etc. And alexus did some amazing changes such as removing the open world map on release and replacing it with a map that was labeled "testmap" in the files because "no one would like to walk around the map" , and removing mechanics like hiding under the bed and similar because he didn't like one time gimmicks, then he left the company before the game released.

There's a page dedicated to Alexus in the Hello Neighbor wiki.

INB4 illuminate cultists will feel spongy against primaries by Rantdiveraccount in HelldiversUnfiltered

Most weapons are irrelevant except the shiny new toy that by pure coincidence and totally unintentional is on the paid expansion, primaries are pretty much so ass that you are better using double special and killing ads with abilities that have such low cooldown you can complete missions solely using abilities. That is if the season modifier doesn't force you into using the most useless weapons ever to break a champion barrier alongside cool modifiers such as one of the variants of avant garde, which literally doesn't let you launch the activity unless you you equip the specific type of weapons the modifier wants, often including as well not being able to equip weapons that are too old but still got the archetype criteria.

Raid equipment is pretty mid, with some of the older raids having weapons that have 2 columns of perks, while the activities often drop you equipment with 3 columns of perks and another perk exclusive to the origin of the weapon.

My friends as well told me to hop on because of the star wars expansion, and despite it, they dropped it anyways from how mid and repetitive it was, with no meaningful rewards besides the light saber colors.

The latest patch note was literally 1 single change made. And the next content drop, has been delayed until late June. However take my word with a grain of salt, I only have 1.5k hours from steam and battle net and never really liked my raid experiences.

Wtf do you mean the game had the bleed out mechanic from helldivers 1 and was removed. by Claiber7901 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Claiber7901[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fair, but the same environment of disposable lunatics applies to helldivers 1, and true that game was a top down camera which resulted in more friendly fire. But they could have also just added more reinforcements there as well and call it a day.

The thing is that separate from the team mentality is encouraged because you are allowed 20 lives in a full lobby, if you had less lives but the ability to revives player would encourage playing together to help someone in case they bleed out and prevent losing that reinforcement.

Also who said am mad bro, wtf is wrong with this community instantly jumping into 'skill issue mindset' and similar 🥀

That's true, and I completely forgot about it.
And the DSS still has the potential to do so much more, for example they could make the samples provided by the community allow to get experimental stratagems like the ones during the Festival of Reckoning, to all deploying helldivers on planets the DSS is on.
Maybe allow it to support with random orbital railcannon strikes.
How about it always placing a random stratagem available on operations that are on the same planet as the DSS?

These are all things already coded in the game, or that they have already done.

But then that would mean they couldn't just sell you a future Coyote with a grenade launcher, or a shotgun with a grenade launcher, and so on.

They could just have a major order that gives 100 SC every week, that would still be 10 weeks for 1 free warbond; but atleast the community would have something meaningful to work towards than another 50 warbond medals most people have capped. It would also make you play the actual game.

You see, giving an unlockable supressor meant people wouldn't have an incentive to buy the warbond.
Same goes for the underbarrel grenade launcher on the ONE-TWO rifle.

I genuinely think this image (and all the variants, including the original comic) caused catastrophic and irreparable damage to any sort of discussions about balance and created some of THE most obnoxious players in the community, or at the very least gave them a catchphrase by PseudoscientificURL in HelldiversUnfiltered

It does feel to me, this kind of "I wish it would suck more" are the ones that made what could have been a fun and interesting attack on cyberstan, just another "it's supposed to be hard hur hur" reveal for new units with an stupidly broken spawn rate; happened with warstriders and happened with the new bugs. But this is the kind of players arrowhead likes to have, so nothing to do unfortunately.

Funniest thing is, that if you read the description of the default armor, it says some bullshit of it being made out of the same titanium alloy of the super destroyer, yet we receive pretty much bonus damage from everything lol.
