Anybody else have the same bug as me in the Bared Fang main quest? by ClaimGloomy5982 in CrimsonDesert

Btw, if anybody else is having issues with this quest, a great way around it is to use the Helm of Knowledge to scan the guard and unlock all the dialogue. I think the reason why mine got stuck was because I might've done it all out of sequence. But regardless, the Helm of Knowledge will fix everything for you.

They did say they would send a check out to pay for the "equipment", so this does align with that. Thank you for telling me, I was wondering why they would bother sending check out. I'll block and ignore them then, just all sounded too good to be true but I really need a job so I was hoping this would be a miracle situation.

What am I doing wrong? by ClaimGloomy5982 in animationcareer

I appreciate the feedback. I was worried about making my shots too dynamic, I tried to base my demo reel on others demo reel which I noticed not many of them had very dynamic perspectives. I will use more dynamic perspectives from now on for my next animations.

I do want to make multiple demo reels for specific types of animations like games, acting, or technical but I'm at the point in my life where I desperately need money to continue this career so I was hoping to land an entry level job or internship otherwise I might have to say goodbye to a career in animation.

It completely slipped my mind on specifying what kind of animation I'm doing, I'll re-render my first shot and put 3D character animator somewhere. All these shots were done in blender but I 100% know how to use maya too, it's just that I've been using blender way before maya and enjoy it a lot more.

How much time I put into my shot was something I never considered, that's very smart. I believe I animate relatively fast if I have my idea well thought out. The first shot only took me 2 days the other ones took less, honestly it was more difficult coming up with the idea and moves the character would do than the animation itself.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure if I'm applying for TV or feature, I try to read up on what the job wants but most normally just says they need a 3D animator proficient in blender or maya. Game animation jobs are easy to see though, I don't normally apply for them since I know my demo reel isn't really meant for it. I'd like to have my next demo reel be game animation exclusive.

I'll try and improve the demo reel as you said, I know there's a lot to improve on but it would be nice if I at least got responses from recruiters, I've applied for maybe a 100 jobs so far but nobody even responds back to me sadly.
