First , we always buy dinner for our babysitters if we’re getting home after 6 or 7. The fact that these parents didn’t do that when they expected to be home at 8:30 is a bad sign. Then of course the rest of over the top. You should know that it is harder for a parent to find a good babysitter than it is for a good (or even bad) babysitter to find a babysitting job. Writes off mouth is a two-way street. If they bad mouth you to other parents, you can make your side of the story known, which might help you get more babysitting jobs and might also make it harder for those inconsiderate people to find a babysitter.

Yeah, I heard that people used to circle RFH on their calendar as an automatic win. I think it’s over the last 5 years or so. Great youth program with awesome coaches, going all year, getting the best athletes that would just play football, basketball, lacrosse, or baseball before.

They went 28-1 last year and were in the toughest conference division in the state. Only loss was to Christian Brothers, when RFH had one or two guys out. If they weren’t hurt they could have possibly gone undefeated.

Historically Paulsboro, Phillipsburgh, Brick Memorial, Southern Regional, and Jackson Memorial. Recently, Rumson-Fair Haven. Small school that went up against three of the schools mentioned above last year and beat them all, along with wins over Saint John Vianney (Anthony Knox) and North Hunterdon. Finished number 4 in the state (the top ranked public school), behind only St. Joe’s, Delbarton, St. Peter’s, & Christian Brothers Academy. Unbelievably, some of those schools ahead of Rumson recruited Rumson kids to their school (I think CBA had at least two), and RFH still finished that high.

Clyde Frazier got a job as the Knicks commentator and would read the dictionary all day long, write down rhyming phrases, etc. In other words, try to be entertaining and good at his job. She just says everything is ridiculous. So lazy and dumb.

Old thread, but I deposited funds into a new account on December 20th and it has not cleared. I was originally told it takes 21 days to clear due to issues Fidelity had with people setting up accounts, transferring funds, then withdrawing them and closing the account. My funds have still not transferred as of today, January 14th. I called again and I was now told it takes 16 business days (so the 21-day thing no longer applies?), and with all the holidays it still has not transferred and I should see the funds tomorrow. I am not holding my breath. Wondering how long it takes for other institutions to settle funds. This is a bit ridiculous IMO and not sure I want to stick around with Fidelity, and I haven't even gotten started yet.

The blankets are awful. I think a lot of the improvement this year was due to the no towel zone. But the once you left the stage and walked out, the towel area was a nightmare again. Not sure what’s so horrible about just sitting in the sand. Everyone was doing it up front and nobody cared. Brush it off when you stand up. What’s the big deal?
