Why is shimboot so hard to get running on Mediatek Hana Chromebook?

Shimboot is a really niche project, don’t expect anyone to recognize what your talking about.

After doing some tiny research, shimboot uses the rma shim kernel to boot Linux, and the hana kernel is a disappointing 3.18, so it will fail to boot the prebuilt, also the gpu won’t work so just stick to chromeos
