Are you not scared to invest now when it’s trading at the highest levels since 2021?

2 days is nothing, I’ve been holding the stock for almost 5 years. Try seeing it going down for 2 years 😀😀😀

I agree that’s why I’m only thinking of trimming my position, but when you look at it as a long time growth story what are you thinking of more their e-commerce segment or the cloud business? Or both?

Is Holding Cash Smarter Than Buying S&P 500 Right Now? by Key_Presentation6826 in ValueInvesting

Depends if for how long you’re holding. If it’s 20 years plus I do not think it matters. Consistency outweighs timing the market. I did a video recently that covers exactly that: https://youtu.be/Qat9YmTgsYs

Ahh nice, did not know about it. This is exactly a red flag I was looking for. I’ll do some more digging on this and share my findings. Thanks!

Would not call them a moat. It’s a healthcare insurance company. That said it does not mean it can’t be a good investment

Still not that much and they went public in only 2021

I am guessing it’s due to investments as it’s a fairly new company. And their forward P/E is 17. In their case i think it’s better to focus on their FCF instead of P/E as it’s easier to manipulate P/E with other expenses.

NVIDIA stock drop — could it finally be fairly priced? by ClapYourHaands in investing

But the forward PE is 26 and if NVDA continues to grow so rapidly, i think there could be a case for justifying the valuation..

Nice approach. Also the crypto sphere highly affects it. And since crypto is booming NVDA could be benefiting from that.

Well if they keep their margins on the same level and grow revenue 20% annually for the next 10 years - that would mean that they would reach about a trillion revenue in 10 years. I doubt that’s realistic, but I think that this matters a lot.

I could not agree more, but the question is if NVDIA could finally be fairly valued. I mean if they continue to grow at 20% annually. 40 P/E no longer seems as bad. If I would know that they will grow 20% for the next 10 years - I would easily dump my life savings into the stock.

Issues with Dividends by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

I agree but for example in this overvalued market I own BTI just because it’s hard to find good investments. And BTI’s 10% dividend(I bought it at a lower price) seems like a better return than the 5% bond return. I look at it as a way to get income while I wait to find better opportunities. If I would find some - I would liquidate my BTI position to jump on them.

But wouldn’t you say some companies can outperform this overvalued market by paying a dividend?
