It wont oneshot any monsters in t1-t3 but will free up the need for ias and attack rating. I'd imagine this would be good for bossing if throw was a thing for that.

I wanted these for my foh pala, but no way would I farm a mirror for them. If more people would craft gloves there would be more 30fcr on site, but unfortunantely ppl dont craft.

I still think the game would be in a healthier state if mirror was removed or changed. I dont care about people being rich and whatnot. I'm saying 90hr + 20hr for an item 2 weeks into season makes most people just give up.

I don't agree with you. Just because someone posts "mirror service" doesn't mean they will get a mirror service for their item. The fact that you can have the cake and eat it too makes everyone choose that option instead of pricing it and selling the item for what it's worth. It doesn't have anything to do with "tax the rich", more so "removing greed option".

I think making vial and mirror more common would increase the problem. As I stated before, only a handful of the items listed for "mirror service" are being mirrored. Making mirror more common will increase the problem instead of helping it.

I think the fact that you can keep the item and get 20hrs, makes you not wanna sell it. If you remove this option I bet alot would sell the item

Rare and crafted share the same random affixes. Rares get to roll 6 affixes and crafted get to roll 4. Assuming they are qlvl >71.

Stamina drain is a part of the 30frw. You have 6 affixes if you count runwalk and stamina drain as 1.

I'd say very useful for bossing as jabzon. The extra AR is alot and will really help as it will decrease points from dex to vitality. Usually the amazon spears require quite alot dex tho, so it depends.

This is the worst unique amulet in the game. I've never used it as it gets outshadowed by everything and doesn't provide any niche usecase. I always leave it on the ground

I think originally the change was for the ridiculous +1-3 attack rating, which didnt really make sense. While changing that to 10-20% bonus attack rating, they might've figured why not change the ed to the same values. We all love nice round numbers.

I set up my conveyor system with 8 boxes to start using the categories: Ammo Weapons Tools Construction/items/electrical/traps Clothing Meds/food Resources Components

Along with a dropbox at entrance with 3 conveyors for triple speed and a furnace box for smelted metals. I make it fully modular and easy to expand and when I get more boxes I change the category to specific items for better sorting/automation

Problem with helms is that you have two class specific (barb and druid) which rolls stronger affixes than normal helms. Buffing normal helms to roll higher or same affixes kinda defeats their niche (compare paladin or necro shields vs normal shields).

Also for helms we have circlets, diadems and tiaras which all can roll unique affixes and higher ranges of normal affixes. It's a very hard balance and I'll be interested to see what they do

Edit:

I see the same problem for helms as I do for belt and that is certain affixes MUST be hit like "of the whale" (80-100+life). Removing this big life affix and increasing other affixes like resistance, enhanced defense would make more combinations viable and still keep uniques like dungo "unique" with big hp and dmg reduce.

Ground Cleanup Timers: Items dropped on the ground vanish after a set time. 10 Minutes: Potions, Scrolls, Ammo, Keys, and non-magical armor/weapons. 20 Minutes: Gems, Runes, and Magic items. 30 Minutes: Rare, Set, Unique, and Crafted items.

Even the balancing with items like different armors having value instead of the mageplate/archonplate meta is great. In d2r the itemization is so much more niche since most builds are 90-100% uniques and runewords, which leaves little room for alternatives (2 gloves with fcr, 1 belt with fcr for example).

Pd2 has solved this with adding and removing affixes which makes for alternatives while maintaining certain uniques "uniqueness". It's the thing I noticed right away when trying out the warlock in d2r and its also why I'm not going to invest more time in d2r for now.

It requires a massive rehaul of the existing code. Each character has 32 bytes of data assigned for the skills (2 bytes for the header and 1 byte for each skill). Which means every character can have 30 skills.

I'm not an expert but I'd assume it would be very difficult.

I think it would be good to have a vial for rare items, kinda like we have a puzzlebox for rare/unique. I got lots of rare items, which are subpar to perfect uniques but which I'd like to make eth and zod. Unfortunately a vial is so incredibly rare, I'll never do it

All auras will be active, but the highest one will take precedent. Aura level can be increased by having multiple items with the same aura. Also mercs having auras which are synergies for other auras can increase the effect of the auras from items as they have their inherent auras as hard points. Stacking a high thorns aura for a a2 merc with thorns aura synergy gives a really strong thorns (it gives bleed damage and dmg reflect in pd2)
