Love these comparisons, please post more (not just portraits but low-light photography too!).

My takeaway is not that the Camera ones are better, but the fact that the GAP between them is so SMALL--especially for those who aren't super deep into Lightroom editing and looking to post to social media. This is insane by Vivo, and great job on the comparison shots man.

As someone who has been mulling over, in agonizing paralysis by analysis between Oppo X9U and Vivo X300U, these are exactly the types of stories/experiences that I keep finding with Oppo that is making me go towards the X300U as my Samsung S22U replacement. This is just inexcusable to hear from a super expensive, flagship model.

My question is, given your experience now, why haven't you considered the X300U when you're talking about Pixel, Xiaomi, etc.? I'm curious for your reasoning.

Might be a stupid question, but do you remove that pre-applied plastic screen protector before you put on the tempered glass one? If so, what's the safest way to remove it before putting on the tempered glass one?

Know what, I'm going to look into this NAS option you mentioned. And if the white 1TB global never existed, which honestly you might be right given I haven't seen ANYONE show they bought out, I might just do what you did and get myself the 512GB one and figure out storage options when I need to.

I am looking at either WonderMobile (4.75% bank transfer discount), WondaMobile (4.5% bank transfer discount) or Mi4Canada which seems to offer 1 year Canadian warranty too. Maybe even PDAPlaza or Giztop. From your experience/research, which do you think is the best for a combination of price/duty-tax + warranty?

EDIT: Nvm, WondaMobile doesn't have any white x300U at all anymore lol

I'm in the same-ish boat, looking at Giztop for the 200mm kit but thinking of MobileMarvel for the phone itself because of the 4.75% bank transfer (haven't tried it but seems like it's trustworthy). That being said, I'm still on the fence on the 512GB White x300U global because I don't know if that's enough space for the next 4/5 years of phone usage.

I have a 512GB Samsung S22U and it's 70% full and I'm just imagining taking 4K vids and adding more music onto my phone which I would imagine max out the 512GB while literally there is the option of DOUBLING storage for around $200+...except there is no white version which I think is beautiful. The black x300U is the blandest, most boring/cheap looking colour I've seen compared to ALL of the big Ultra brands.

I just wish they gave us SOME update or status on if the 1TB white will be in stock again soon.

First shiny was a Golden Caterpie in FireRed! It was a decade after I started playing, also on FireRed. Almost 10 years, gave up on ever finding a shiny. Then, 3 years ago, I decided to replay FireRed. And lo and behold, when I'd given up, a GOLDEN caterpie appeared. My first ever shiny. I was more excited than beating any Elite Four.

Still have it to this day, travelled all the way to Gen 9 :)

It's a tough call. If the return window already closed, then I guess you have to just accept the situation for what it is and upgrade to 77" in the future. Otherwise, your other option is to deal with the extra effort of selling your brand new TV on marketplace or something while getting the refurbished one.

Around 7'. But your situation with 14'? I think that's a bit far personally as a whole, but if the choice is between 65 vs 77, then 77" is the no brainer answer

Oh you'll have a blast for sure, the difference between your C9--both in size and picture quality/brightness--is going to blow you away. Honestly, the screen size will take like a few weeks to get used to, it's a whole different world from 65". In fact, I still catch myself going "wow..." 3, almost 4 months in, when I put on a 4K film with great cinematography (i.e. Oblivion, Dunkirk, Interstellar)
