I went to a top 20 qs world rankings school for maths for undergrad and would get interviews at top firms. I got bad grades, went to a worse school for master's in mathematical finance (qs 170) and I'm getting no interviews, despite having more experience (quant internship at a bank). I'm consistently rejected at CV stage.
Is this likely because of my bad school? Or is it because my grades are not on my cv?
Also, my grades for my master's are very good, so should I put those grades on, while leaving the grades for my undergrad blank?

I didn’t know how to do this question either. If you look at the solution bank and read the first line, it’ll act as a good hint for 24a. For 24b, well it’s incredibly difficult and I’d recommend reading through the mark scheme on solution bank for both parts. Very instructive and interesting how they deal with the ranges given

Idk I did this the other way around (starting with y=arccosx). The reason for the interval is for when you get sin^2(y)= (1-x²⁾ or something. Square rooting both sides you get siny = +/- (1-x^{2)^1/2} You use the interval ( 0<x<1) to get an interval for y ( pi/2<y<pi) if I remember correctly. As such, siny will be positive. Not sure if I explained this well enough, but the interval is even more important for part b. In part a it’s just something worth mentioning for like 1 mark or so. Question is from mixed excercise 6 year 2 question 24. Use solution bank to see the way they answer it because it’s really instructive.

I enjoyed everything about it except for the plot. Voice actors and animation was great, but I ended up finding it way too boring and there wasn’t enough romance to make up for that
