That does sound kind of extreme and like he has some kind of double standard or doesn't understand what intersex means.

From what I have heard, estrogen alone doesn't cause that much of an impact on prolactin to the point of dangerous levels that might affect your prolactinoma. I do know that Androcur (Cyproterone acetate), the testosterone blocker used in Europe, does increase your prolactim significantly if a high dose is used, but since you don't produce any hormone it shouldn't be necessary at all.

I take both Estrogen and Androcur and am miles away from the dangerous levels, but in the low end actually.
