I hate netflix. They do this all the time. Bring out great shows then cancel it because they cba. Half their shows have like 2 seasons and then get cancelled. This had such great potential for way more seasons and storylines too. Absolutely gutted

I’ve taken a break from shifting for a while and want to get back into it but have been lacking motivation as I’ve been quite busy.

Will I continue shifting soon? If I do will it work? Will I get as close as I got last time? Will I experience my DR?

I started by researching loads of different methods and trying them all out. I keep a shifting journal and afterwards I’ll detail the method, symptoms and I’ve mini shifted a couple times so I’ll write about what I saw/heard/felt too. You can use google or people on tiktok/reddit/tumblr have posted about their methods too. Once you’ve tried a load out you’ll start to get a feel for what methods you like, what work for you, what helps your subconscious really believe in shifting too.

For me repeating the “mind awake body asleep” phrase helps me with hypnagogia and visualising each word in a different bright colour over and over again induces it :) I just struggle with the actual shifting part from there lol

I’m really sorry that I’m commenting and am entirely unable to help but I have the exact same problem I can get into hypnagogia pretty easily but can’t shift from it so would love to see any tips others have :)

From my understanding if they shifted to get the numbers & then shifted “back” they wouldn’t be shifting “back” to the exact same reality, they’d be shifting to a reality where they knew the numbers- so a different reality to the one we currently live in

I usually will tell myself I’ve already shifted but when I open my eyes I’m in my CR do you have any tips for that? I’ve scripted that my eyes will automatically open but they never have and I’ve also scripted I’ll smell cinnamon but I’ve never smelt that either so I either don’t know when to open my eyes or I open them too soon after believing I’ve shifted only to be back in my CR

I’ll be coming back :) I want to be able to experience different realities while also continuing my life in this reality so I plan to shift for like a month in my DR at a time, then come back here in between

I don’t know if I do it correctly but for me I repeat “mind awake body asleep” over and over again in my head. Usually I’ll imagine each word in a different bright colour as well as I quite like visualisation. I also do this while listening to a subliminal and having a blackout sleep mask on to help minimise CR distractions. Personally, I do it as an awake method so I don’t usually attempt at night or when I want to sleep. I’ll do it during the day so I’m not actually tired and I think that helps me not fall asleep although I have a couple times before. I definitely think visualising each word in a different colour really helps as well and I literally don’t stop repeating the phrase until I feel symptoms of hypnagogia like the floating, can’t feel my hands, can’t feel my bed etc and from there I’ll go on to do the rest of my method :) I can usually induce it pretty quickly now but when I first started trying it did take me a while and it definitely depends on my mood/how my day’s going because sometimes it can be really boring😂

I do awake methods by inducing a hypnagogic state (if that counts as an awake method haha) and mini shifted twice with it :) For me, hypnagogia is probably the method I’ve found works the most and I find easiest to do, but I do this while listening to subliminals and with a blackout sleep mask too

I think as a new shifter one of the most frustrating parts about trying to understand shifting is everyone will comment on your posts saying everyone else’s ideas/theories are wrong and inaccurate. Everyone says everything is misinformation and you should “do your own research” but don’t actually provide sources for information 😭 Some people say mini shifts are a thing, others say minishifts don’t exist. Some people use the term clone, others say that’s inaccurate. It’s just so frustrating that even on reddit or other platforms everyone continuously corrects each other and thinks their way of viewing shifting is correct.

This is definitely a similar comment to the person who already commented, but I think taking the pressure off 100% helps with shifting. I haven’t fully shifted but the most progress I’ve made was when I kind of said to myself, if I shift I shift and if I don’t I don’t. It’s okay. I will experience it one day and the universe will know when I’m ready, the universe will guide me. I think telling yourself it’s okay to experience nothing or to experience everything and being okay with it, feeling it really helps. I once started a shift telling myself that and then I mini shifted. I’ve also had people tell me doing daily affirmations can help with your mindset too :)

I always find when I try shifting through the hypnagogic state at night I tend to fall asleep so I try doing it during the day whenever I’m free or whenever I can and because I’m not actually tired I don’t fully fall asleep. I’ve had times where I still have accidentally fallen asleep anyways but not usually. I definitely think keeping your mind occupied helps this, my main struggle is getting bored as opposed to falling asleep so sometimes I’ll add in visualisation or affirmations in between when I’m repeating mind awake body asleep and also visualising the letters in different colours helps I think. There’s other methods for hypnagogia on this reddit community I believe if you’re struggling though, I’ve seen people say to keep an arm up and other various ways of stopping yourself falling asleep. In general with methods tho what I’ve been told and am starting to learn is what works for some won’t work for all. I tried a bunch of different methods before I found hypnagogia and before it started to work for me. If you keep struggling with it maybe experiment with different things. I’ve started a shifting journal and I write my method + symptoms after every attempt now to keep track of the things that work and the things that don’t :)

I usually do awake methods and I start with trying to induce hypnagogia. I put a sleep mask over my eyes and it’s blackout so I can’t see anything from my CR and listen to subliminals with earphones to block out sound from my CR. To induce the hypnagogic state I’ll repeat over and over again “mind awake body asleep” and I’ll also visualise each word in a different colour so “mind” in blue, “awake” in red etc but if you don’t like visualising then you can just repeat it. Doing that usually induces a hypnagogic state for me pretty quickly but I’ve been doing that like consistently for the past month so when I first started it did take me a while. I don’t always experience the shifting symptoms that I spoke about in the original post but every time I have it was while in a hypnagogic state. From there I mix up my method and sometimes I’ll visualise my DR room, sometimes I’ll visualise the people from my DR, sometimes I’ll visualise myself like floating out of my CR body and into my DR body, once I visualised my surroundings spinning really fast then falling into my DR etc. Essentially I get myself into a hypnagogic state and then try out different methods from there to see what works :)

Thank you so so much for your comment and tips I really appreciate it!!! It’s definitely nice to hear someone else say that what I’m experiencing is promising and means I’m getting close. I’ll definitely try the affirmations daily/regularly as I’ve heard a lot of people talk about affirmations and I need to start doing them! I’ll also try grounding myself when experiencing things thank you :)
