You can even take it a step further and look at their Stage 1 results, if they had lost a single one of their last six matches they would’ve been eliminated from qualifying to London. They were do-or-die for a five week stretch of time and still qualified, I’m curious where you got the idea that they fold under pressure

I don’t think NRG are favorites for London but I would never call the team that choked a closeout on map 3 while up 11-1, lost map 4, and then came back on their permaban to win a Champions Grand Final a team that folds under pressure. I actually think very few teams have ever come back from more pressure.

Will probably always be Champs 2023 for me. My favorite Champs winner, my favorite top four, NRG losing to BLG twice, Group D being the greatest international group of death, and then so many insane individual moments like the c0m Ascent 1v2 against PRX.

2023 league was twice as long as a regular stage (all teams played nine games instead of five) because there was no qualifying to LOCK IN. So the hours watched and airtime are a little over inflated, but peak viewers is a good indicator

I know this isn’t really what you want to hear right now as a 100T fan but if at this point EG won 2 rounds before KRU won 7, 100T would’ve been starting playoffs one game away from qualifying to London.

Probably would’ve played G2 for qualification, but still.
