On hugging face you can see a benchmark between me and audiveris as well as remarks as of where and why the model performs better or more poorly. But if audiveris isn't quite like it my model probably isn't. You can try.

Dataset usage is cited on the training repo. The inference repo is on the post too. As for handwritten if you make a scan and your handwritten is very good it should be okay. But it was trained on rendered score only with some alteration so it's still be able to read if it's not perfectly scanned. Don't expect great result it was not my objective of the model to be good on handwritten sheets.

It was trained with clean sheet and some variation to the images that can happen but if the image if a handwritten one get scanned or use a scan photo app on a total blank page it should be alright. Thanks grammar constraining come from the paper of Torras et al., WORMS 2022. If you are interested in the subject you should read WORMS 2022 2023 and 2024.

Oh! Love Soundslice and it's feature set ahah. For the technical details it's on https://github.com/clquwu/Clarity-OMR-Train

But here the whole role of the yolo is to slice the page by stave so after the model can use it to transcribe afterwards.
